Are these prizes for proving special powers legit and worth doing or are they scams or even honeypots to trap potential wizards into government slavery? Recently I accomplished something not humanly possible and I've been questioning what to do about it. It's the kind of ability that should be very easily proven in a test and with few ways for cheating investigators to mitigate the results. Though it might be repeatedly bestowed upon me by a god rather than intrinsically a part of me, which could lead to a failed test if said god doesn't want me to win for some reason.

The CFIIG paranormal challenge claims it will give me $500,000 if I can prove this easily proven ability. However, looking at it makes me feel suspicion. There's something big I can't quite put my finger on, and a few smaller things I can. There's a big disclaimer telling telepathic participants they might psychotic delusions, and I have a distrust of psychiatry. They make it the participant's responsibility to transport themselves, and while they surely can't afford to fly thousands of people out to California it makes the testing a lot less accessible, and something just feels wrong. I know for a fact the paranormal is real yet in like over a decade they haven't been able to find proof. I've heard people here suggest these kinds of tests are scams or honeypots, but they didn't give too much detail and this is not the most trustworthy place on the internet.

tl;dr should i do this paranormal challenge or is it a trap https://cfiig.org/

The latter (but worse).

I can summon UAP (glowing orbs) in the night sky. Will they accept this as paranormal?

Where and what is this Tranquility Island near Halifax Canada? Web search hasn't proven very helpful, in part due to the fact that there are multiple Tranquility Islands around the world. On google earth I can see a couple raised indentations in the ocean that might be islands but zooming in on google earth doesn't reveal anything. I suppose it could be hiding something. OpenStreetMap hasn't been helpful either, but that might be because I have nothing to go off of and am just getting lost rather than it being hidden on that website.

During the screening process they'll tell you whether your ability is paranormal and decide on testing conditions. This process can take months of back and forth, though.
