Not an anime but a web novel; I'm pretty sure it was called "Prophet Asylum", i remember reading it on Webnovel.
Its a isekai and the mc "uri" originally died form some gunshot in some store robbery and was chosen by the God of destruction to become his Prophet and his mission was to kill god (the god of creation)

The mythology was similar to Gnosticism, where there was first the monad (but the author just called it "all that is" or "the divinity", from that the divinity developed aspects of it self, the being the god of destruction (which was described to be "the one below all") and the God of creation (which was described "the one above all")

And from the God of creation the 7 primordial gods was made.

then as everyone was doing their thing the god of destruction came to destruction everyone stuff, they didn't like that as they felt entitled to keep their stuff

and rebelled against him intern trying to kill him.
(but just like in real life) these gods cant fully die they just transform or fade for a while (like the frog god kek became pepe)

There was 13 major royal family's within the novel

It had a system of hominid races (such as giants, ghost and vampires) the number reaching 72
and humans being precisely mentioned to be the 33 race to be created

The earth with the novel was literarily Flat
with a hallow part in the middle of it (like a tringle going down)

you couldn't go to the centre of the world due to the currents and the livetin which warped its head around the whole area

It power system was liked directly to religion and belief and i think it was heavily inspired by chaos magick ideology

Their was the underground society of people being dressed up like clowns and jester (iykyk)

One of the major royal family's the mc interacts with has an owl as the emblem

Im also pretty sure Jesus was hinted to be in there but it was left for the readers interpretation

There was the mother goddess repenting the god of life

And the novel always had dialogues talking about the recantation and cycles of death and rebirth

Also one of the fucking card games the mc had to play was such an obvious golden dawn refence; there was to players one who played the moon side and another who played the sun side and the sun side had all the zodiacs of the royal arch (image) while the mc had the other cards and a separate deck of cards of different planets, and each card did something new and each of the plant cards did something as well.
the aim of the game was to get rid of all your cards
and the other guy said their was supposed to be to be 2 pillars in-between the cards (the fucking S, B towers) and the pile of used cards in the middle probably repented the rise of the w tower, but they didn't have the decorations so they just used two coins as place holders. I forgot the exact details of the game as it has been so long since i read it

The novel also talked about tanra
and im pretty sure the mc learnt how to cultivate his life force and im 99% its the exact why to cultivate your chi just with different names

And their was these things called relics (which i think was inspired by the towers and stuff on top of them to gather aether for energy used before the great history wipe) and the higher you raise them the stronger the people in the radius are.

There was so so much more but im pretty sure the novel got deleted or something.
There has to be at lest one person here who read it as well???

While the story initially suggests, there are inevitabilities in life you can never escape from even if you have to power to control time and space. The ending leaves with an entirely different approach to free will vs determinism; Even though there are certain things you can't run from you can work your way around your suffering to create your own path if you have the courage and creativity
