I hope so because I absolutely fucked up this life, plus im afraid of death, void and hell. I hope we return to earth after we die, i think its the best picture considering other options, there is just so much to do, feel, explore, experience in life here on earth that just one life is very short to cover all of that, getting one shot and then going to hell or heaven is kinda sad and lame, because even if we go to heaven we dont get to experience other lifes and the full richness of human experience. I hope buddhism and hinduism is right, although I can concile it with christianity wich also seems kinda true. Do this two opposing beliefs can come to agree on any point respect to afterlife? Can they both be true?

The modern ideas of heaven and hell aren't really biblical. Sheol which is just the Jewish underworld where all the dead go, is translated as hell. Then the lake of fire is described as the second death. It's annihilation. And the Kingdom of Heaven is described as coming on earth. Jesus was killed before the kingdom came and he had a chance to rule. Of course the response to that is the second coming and the revelation prophecy. It has been 2000+ years though, and according to the actual biblical text all those dead people are just awaiting revival in the kingdom that has yet to be realized.And the Gnostic traditions belived in reincarnation. So there are Christian sects that more closely align with eastern ideas. I personally think reincarnation makes more sense than just waiting for 2000+ years. But if you aren't concious when your dead, I guess it would just be like going to sleep and waking up.
