Maybe they thought there was more money to make from climate-friendly solutions and now that’s been proven wrong? Either way seems like the grifters mostly abandoned the pitch. What’s unbelievable to me is how many retards still act like the idea of humans impacting the climate is impossible when if you spend any time outside it’s clear the climate is shifting and it’s happening rapidly. I grew up in Phoenix and it’s gotten so hot that buildings from the 80s and 90s can’t even stay cool anymore. When I saw Oppenheimer the theater was like 85 inside even though the theater’s AC was working, it just wasn’t capable of keeping up with the heat outside. Shit like this all over the place. Even this winter we’re in right now is exceptionally warm. It seems like the media apparatuses have pivoted to doing the opposite, downplaying climate change and it’s effects. I find that the weather isn’t even accurate anymore, reports are consistently 5-15deg closer to the historic average than it actually is outside. Probably to hide the insane trends. It’s not just hotter by the way it’s a general disruption of the cycles of environment. We’re just gonna get more and more extreme weather.
