Hello! I wasn't sure exactly what to search using Ctrl+F to find related topics, so please forgive me if someone has already made a similar post and I'm repeating myself.Are there people who are forbidden from developing spirituality, having supernatural contacts, or things like that? Since I was little, I've attended churches of all denominations, including Catholicism. In all the ones I've been to, I've never felt anything other than sleepiness, and I've never had any contact with God. When I talk to fellow Christians, or read esoteric threads here on the chan, I confess I feel envious, because when I pray I don't hear God's voice, when I sing I don't feel a fervor in my body, and when I was baptized I didn't feel the Holy Spirit possessing me. I've also never seen any ghosts, heard voices, or seen objects moving. What's wrong with me?I once read a thread on /b/ where a anon said that not everyone has a soul, and that influences that person's spiritual experiences. How do I know if I have a soul? I can't understand it. Am I cursed, and is there some kind of block preventing me from having these kinds of contacts or experiences?And finally, a request. As you may have already noticed, I have no knowledge of occultism, so I don't know if what I'm going to ask for exists, but if it does, please let me know:Is there any kind of ritual I can do to see something? It may seem silly, but I think I have doubting Thomas syndrome. I would really like to see a glass moving, or feel some energy in my body after my request. I would like to feel that I am not alone in this, and that I can develop my spirituality, and one day practice magic or astral projections.I apologize if the text is poorly written or if the question is silly. Yeah, honestly I kinda feel the same way. But if there is any hint of that hook that often happens with conversations like this, it is best to move on to the next session.
Have you felt good before? Then God has spoken directly to you. I do not mean that God liked what made you feel good, or that God made it happen in some mystical bullshit way. I mean that feeling of goodness and joy itself is what it feels like to recognize God's presence. We are only capable of experiencing it because God created this place for us to be created and create ourselves in the image of what is good. Don't worry about it all too much. God doesn't allow you to be just so you can suffer. Nobody has any kind of absolute contract that forbids them from developing spiritually because God is the only one whose word is absolute. We can make vows, but our vows are only as good as our ability to follow through on them. I can't speak directly for God obviously, but in my experience it doesn't seem like He ever stops giving us chances to choose goodness until we are dead, and possibly not even then. I think asking questions is good too though. God clearly doesn't draw His line at inquiry, no matter what frightful people or churches might suggest. Any entity that wants you to know them won't damn you for asking questions.
