People with lower demonic possessions usually fork into developing either B(orderline)PD-like symptoms (though it's probable that it's the other way around and the majority of BPD cases are in fact possessions) or schizoid tendencies. There's most likely a disbalance between men and women, wherein men lean towards schizoid tendencies, and women lean towards BPD. This has something to do with, so to speak, accountability, as those with a stronger understanding of accountability will resist the demon more, or outright be immovable on some issues, and they will also generally be of stronger mind and body, being more capable of holding the demonic influence at bay at the expense of their apparent sanity as they try to maintain the link with reality and that link has to be continuously disrupted. BPDs, on the other hand, have failed to provide enough internal resistance at critical points and became demonic conduits. They mimic humanity and prey on the weak such as (You).A noticeable portion of possessions works off controlling the victim's attention and overtaking their internal narrative, as well as promoting engagement with inner monologue and imagination. The demon will also try to get their victim into an unhealthy routine, primarily physical, but it may also extend to things like general activities, social circle, etc. In this way demonic oppression, and even some cases of forceful possession, could be called consensual, as the person has to willingly give their freedom of will over to the demon repeatedly before the demon is even capable of attempting to possess them. Attention has to be controlled, and one should not make compromises with their conscience.

These are spirits that a person takes on themselves. A lot of people are or have been possessed by the spirit of ignorance. These are really self imposed impediments and psychological manifestations largely if not totally.
