Modern science is literally just blind men groping around in the dark pretending they can see. These people have spent centuries measuring and quantifying the material world collecting their precious "data" but they've completely severed themselves from any understanding of what actually lies beneath it all. They know HOW things work mechanically but have zero comprehension of WHY anything exists or what it means. It's like they've mistaken the prison bars for the entire universe. They've locked themselves into studying only what can be weighed and measured and declared that the sensible world is all there is while remaining willfully ignorant of the metaphysical and spiritual dimensions that give reality its actual significance. Traditional civilizations understood that material science was supposed to be connected to higher wisdom, but modern science said "nah we're independent now" and cut the rope leaving it dangling in the void as just a collection of sterile facts that come from nothing and lead nowhere. They mistake their endless hypotheses and approximations for knowledge when they've lost all access to absolute certainty and intellectual intuition. Worst of all is that it's not even about truth anymore, it's just utilitarianism, building machines to build more machines, turning humans into servants of matter. They're literally exploiting forces whose real nature they don't even understand. Imagine being that proud of your ignorance.

I felt this way any time I've seen some fuckhead science guy on youtube, especially when they start yapping away trying to explain shit like consciousness and free will, completely rejecting religion and traditions that have had this shit figured out thousands of years before Christ himself. I can't think of exact examples now, but I feel like in recent years some of these dorks on yt have been inching closer and closer to theories and ideas that have already been mapped out by most religions (especially the east).
