No one knows what happens when you die and that’s evident from all the different religions warring against each other over thousands of years. And all in all, religion is just a sad attempt at trying to explain why we’re are here and what happens when we are no more. Death is like a black hole. You can look at it from the outside, but you can’t go inside of one and expect to come back out and tell everyone what’s inside of it. And you need to make peace with that. I don’t really think it matters how you die whether it be your own doing, someone else, or natural causes, we all probably go to the same place. And I don’t personally believe we cease to exist when we die as life(specifically consciousness) seems too complex for it to just not exist after death. And I only believe reincarnation is a thing for people who would be going to hell in the eyes of other religions. Kind of like god (or whatever higher being/beings) just re-rolling your soul if your first life was committing serious sins into a potentially better person. reincarnation for everyone in general just seems pointless as what’s the point of being reincarnated if you forget everything from your past life and can’t learn from it. Basically the definition of insanity or one of those useless boxes. At the end of the day, this is just my theory, and I’m sure I’m gonna be wrong when I do die, and really the only thing you can do is just hope that what ever comes next after death is nice. Also theres too many small unexplainable things like near death experiences, terminal lucidity, ghost stories etc… that can give us a decent hint that we don’t just stop existing when we die.

Alternate timelines can exist, but depending you and others might have their timelines switched to match the one you were moved to.Several songs I'd listen to absolutely had small changes (timing, beat, etc) movies slightly different, heck, going back to music there were music videos that changed. You haven't experienced life until you've seen two versions of Michael Jacksons "Another Part Of Me" and have this one be inferior. This reality is a hit or miss.
