This'll be the opposite of what's normally theorized here: do you think God works in the world via sports in some way? Like how sports can inspire large numbers of people, and how some athletes treat it like it's their life's purpose to excel at whatever sport they're in. Plus, playing a sport can almost be like a meditative state in which your mind focuses on one particular thing instead of needless worries. Discuss.

Sports act as a pressure release valve for society, so things keep functioning fairly smooth. Then there's the esoteric component of sports like baseball (spring), with the white ball (sperm), bat (penis), catchers mitt (vagina). There's more with the nine innings, the diamond and so on. It's basically a spring time fertility ritual being played over and over.
Then you have football at the opposite end of the year (fall), which is basically a grind.
