I know how it is when mystical experiences and physical or "impossible" supernatural phenomena starts happening around you or in your home or any glimpse of psychic clairvoyance, all after you start taking the spiritual path serious, but it's important to keep it a secret. Not only to avoid scrutiny or skeptics making fun of you but as Edouard Schure said in his book: secrecy has power in the spiritual realm, it works as conservation of spiritual energy.

Many mystics from different religions like the Hanuman devotee Neem Karoli Baba or Christian mystic Teresa of Ávila all recommend that no matter how incredible your experience may be, unless they specifically tell you to share with the world(spiritual mission) you keep it to yourself otherwise it will happen less frequently.

What I'm saying it's nothing new to experienced mystics here but It's always good to remember, a good rule to follow, good luck on your spiritual journey, Anon <3

>>41713870 You know, the modern world is vastly different from the era of the great mystics. If this is indeed an age of decadence, then clinging to excessive secrecy only makes it worse. It can easily backfire. I don't see why we shouldn't share at least some knowledge for the benefit of humanity.

/x/ needs more under the radar spiritual juice like this

It’s not for the sake of secrecy. It’s something else. Idk. Part of our karma I think is to develop the rational mind, so we should be very vigilent about Spiritual claims, even if you’re talking to yourself. At most, i think we’re allowed to be open to spirituality, not swimming in it. I’m throwing words around but this my grasp of the wierd situation

Nah you right. The more you spread the message with words, the more people will just dilute and co-opt it. You tell people what you’ve seen or experienced and lo and behold later you see them wearing it as a costume. Look at all the retarded “esoteric” fools online these days. Nothing but annoying LARPers. The point is to live and embody the “message” in a way that can’t be replicated or explained. Talking the talk isn’t enough. You have to walk the walk. Only those who have really received the truth can walk the walk, and walking the walk exposes those who only talk the talk. Real recognizes real.

You are blowing up the point being made to include a totality of human experience, rather than accepting the observation as it was framed. The idea is related to the mechanics of spirituality and best practices. Any person that has delved into the study and pursuit of spiritual experience learns this lesson implicitly as a consequence of paving the path. It is a core facet of the science. "A magician never reveals his secrets" is a not-so-subtle cliché that has basis in reality.
In regards to your straw-man, I do not believe that you yourself understand what is being insinuated here. This has nothing to do with revealing knowledge of the science to the public. The concept of secrecy in regards to an individual's personal experience with the divine and it's fabric is not analogous to with-holding proof of It's existence, it is related to the ability of the Seeker to reliably experience "It's" effects and subtleties consistently.

Pic related is from the book Miracle of Love by ram dass, the stories about neem karoli baba, dozens and dozens of miracle accounts and siddhis, matter transmutation, turning water into milk, multiplying food, knowing secret thoughts and many more.

Also Schure says Jesus used this esoteric conservation of energy as well when he told people to not tell about his miracles and it wasn't just him not wanting to be known just yet:

And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus saith unto him, See
thou tell no man (Matt. 8. 3, 4).

And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no
man know it (Matt. 9. 30).

And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man (Matt. 17. 9; Mark 9. 9).

And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way
(Mark 1. 42-44; Luke 5. 13, 14)

And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
And he charged them that they should tell no man (Mark 7. 35, 36)

And he charged them that they should tell no man of him (Mark 8. 29, 30;
Luke 9. 20, 21 ; Matt. 16, 20)

Don't get tricked by the secretfags. Call them niggers and juke them instead. It's way more fun.
