What are the occult implications and real-world spiritual parallels of Kingdom Hearts?
>>41717994Something about losing one’s heart, and becoming a new being (nobody) who is trying to regain their memories feels very much like where I’m at right now. But also the fact that the worlds are connected but have all lost something as a consequence and have a sort of soulless quality seems especially poignant as a piece of media at the turn Y2K, globalism, the internet, and the multiverse-ization/IP-ization of art and the cheapening of the human soul. But these are both just commentaries on commercialization and don’t scratch the surface of the occult themes, spiritual mechanism and implications whatsoever.
Jungian Shadow work, the myth of Ganymede being taken away from his home to be the water bearer of the Gods. The different worlds have similarities to Kabbalah/Plato theory of forms.
>>41717994Idk but i once heard from a guy that kingdom hearts is about kabbalah
>>41717994Same as Final Fantasy and as >>41718338says but they go a little too far with it if I'm making the correct parallels. Like every character having several splintered "selves" that form their own consciousness, desires, and agendas but like every fucking character that's not a Disney IP has like 10 versions of themselves so narratively it becomes inconsequential.
