Okay, so, let me explain this quite simply:Around 2023 I started getting into esoteric stuff, I was already somewhat of a conspiracy theorist around that time, even thought I had not posted in /x/ at the moment. However, I was a usual poster of /jp/, being my "home board." After having an esoteric discussion in the board about Touhou Project, I decided to make my first esoteric thread/conspiracy thread related to the franchise. Time later, I continued creating these threads up to 2025 where I made my last one at the moment. At some point, I got invited to a site where I could discuss these esoteric discussions further. Later I discovered that these were the people that frequented the threads I made; I had no idea they were an organized group, as I thought it was a simple hobby I had "formalized."After getting into touch with their stuff, I noticed that they unironically talk to the Touhou characters, and no, I am not talking about egregores. These seem to be real spirits and Gods that morph into these characters. Just, let me be clear: Gensokyo is real, and these spirits have followers around the world, apart from groups that investigate their origin and how to open portals to their world.Now, the reason I am making this thread is that I was a user that basically did nothing but jackshit. And recently I got told that I should integrate a character that I fell in love with, but also hated, called "Yukari." And apparently, they want me to embody her. Getting her energy and becoming a worshiper of her image. Just yesterday, I did 27 prostrations in the middle of the night to a fan art of her.(To be continued in post below)
So, basically: I need real advice here, I am getting into something shady? Yukari is a Venusian entity, who embodies the archetypes of Lilith, Ishtar, Aphrodite and according to some Japanese websites even Lucifer. Besides of the fact that she is completely different to the character archetype that my spirit guide, let's call him "W", embodies. Ironically, in real life I am pretty similar to Yukari in personality, but my point is that this is basically some strange thing I am getting into and I am wondering if this is a deviation from my actual destiny.Just in case someone from the group sees this post, I just want to say that I do not hold any grudge against you all, but I need outsider advice because I know I am an incredulous person and I don't want to fall into something prejudicial.
