Anyone else feel like they’ve run out of interesting things to watch/research when it comes to true crime? I’m a huge true crime fan and lately I’ve been diving into Japanese cases (KyotoRobato, Sakura Stardust, I go on 5ch and other forums as well), but most of them aren’t translated so there's a language barrier, and my Japanese isn’t good enough yet to research some 未解決事件 in video formatOn the English side I’ve basically seen everything worthwhile (I do mean that, ReignBot, Cayleigh Elise, you name it, I've been doing this for years), so now I’m kinda stuck.I really like the mystery element, but most cases aren’t that interesting or novel. Cold cases and unresolved mysteries are the only stuff that still feels fresh.Anyhow, what are some cases that you guys find particularly interesting/mysterious?
I honestly think it is a hoax that is supposed to depict something occulty. SO MANY 'coincidences'. If it IS real, she was in gangstalking hell/was a ritual sacrifice from birth. I hope the former is true:>Name is Elisa Lam>Tuberculosis test with her name flipped is done in the general area where she stayed>Goes to a bookstore name Last Bookstore>Said bookstore somehow has location of her gravesite as an address on their website>Hates the use of 'cunt' as an insult>Graffiti in 'Latin' says "In fact she was a cunt" on the tank she was found in>Interested in invisibility tech>Organization called Invisible Light Agency was found to overlap with the hotel she was in>Has 'Lam' in name>Lam was the name of a demon summoned by Aleistor Crowley>Lam also means to hit hard, like a fatal blow, and to be on the runThere are more coincidences here btw.Another case I am into is the Erin Valenti incident. She was a CEO of a tech company, and while on a trip, she said that we were in a thought experiment/the matrix, then went missing before being found dead of no apparent reason. Nor as cursed ig, but still weird.IG if you cases more cursed, look into Kenneka Jenkins and Kendrick Johnson. The first one is another hotel death. She was found dead in the freezer after going there with friends. They say she lovked herself in, but of course foul play is afoot.The second one is a school death. The dude was found dead in a rolled up gymmat. He supposedly got stuck trying to retrieve shoes he tossed in there, but it is pretty obvious he was murdered. This one actually happened at my highschool, but fortunately for me I was not even in middle school yet.Also, these 2 victims have some similarities that I find interesting, but it does not necessarily mean much:>Both are black>Both are teens of similar age>Both have KJ initials and Ken- in their first name>Both died mysterious deaths listed as accidents, but are probably murders.
