I'm particularly interested in what books from the New testament Gnostics consider worthy, and whether you consider all the gnostic text to be worthy. I am leaning gnostic but some of the gnostic texts do seem too far fetched in their retellings. I'm guessing the original version of Gospel of Mark would be added? Lots of people say Gospel of John is the best for Gnostics but it's very clear it is a polemic to refute the Gospel of Thomas. I'm also wondering what you all think of Paul.

i'd like to learn too. i assume not all texts from the nag hammadi are "canon". have you read all of them, anon? i've only read four of them so far
>>41723491There are tensions between all the apostles, since they were mortal human beings with different perspectives. The red letters -- the Logia of Jesus -- are what can be relied on. The rest is commentary inspired by the Spirit but filtered through limited human minds.

>>41724035The Nag Hammadi scriptures, Pistis Sophia, and the 4 familiar gospels are all worth reading. The Gospel of John and the Gospel of Matthew are especially foundational with regard to the moral and metaphysical teachings. The Nag Hammadi texts all cite the synoptics and John.
