Discussion on the power of crystals and gems.Used to doubt them as new age bs until I encountered a problem (bad spirits attached to an object brought into the home) and upon research was given the solution of owning obsidian. It worked. Now I'm interested in finding good resources on geodes to learn more without having to filter through bad ones if I can help it (I don't know what to look for). Does anyone know of anything on the subject worth reading? Or have anything to say on them?

i watched some explanation vid for ff9 recently that opened my mind up more at least made me think of crystals differently. in ff9, the crystal represented the ego of the world, which solidified over time into from souls returning to it. souls contained memories, and memories or something are what form ego and a sense of time. memories would go into the "world crystal" (in ff9, gaias crystal) when soulsreturned to it. this in turn resulted in the crystal generating more complex life forms. pretty cool conceptsort of going off this idea, in the real world diamond would be "the most hard" crystal type thingy, associated with mans dualisms, law and black cube by extensionsort of makes me think of the human brain also. the brain "crystalizes" as it gains more wisdom. a person becomes more set in their ways. makes me think of the process of how crystals might come to be, like how in a cavern an icicle or something takes thousands of years to form to something solid

I think water can't form beads on diamonds. They have some other properties, something to do with electricity too I think.
