is there a spiritual reason as to why we wage war? If you think about it, war seems to be one of the few things that binds all cultures, tribes and nations together. No matter where youre from, at some point one of your ancestors fought in a conflict. But why? is it all just because were primitive? or is there a higher (or lower/evil) Energy or Entity which demands human sacrifice in large scale at least every few decades or centuries?

The unfortunate reality is that war is a normal condition, and violence and power are foundational to order.
It will always be part of us, so the best part we can do is wage war in a Christian way and treat captives of war as humanly as possible.
