What sort of interference do you expect the galactic federation to do? If they give us advanced tech it'll almost immediately be weaponised and used as a tool for dominance. Humanity has a set course for development and one day we will return back to the stars but that takes time. In the grand scheme of things our lives are tiny, our suffering is nothing. We may well be in a decline stage but to the perspective of the Galactic federation, this decline is the seed that'll spark our next dimension leap into a new paradigm of existence.

The problem is that most people don’t have the option to choose good. People are forced to fight and kill to protect their innocence and the innocence of others. Others are forced to steal to live and keep others alive. Our human psyche can’t take all the negativity and goes to bad coping mechanisms like drugs or alcohol, hiding away from society.
Meanwhile they(not saying it’s them but someone clearly is) kill off any who work towards improving society enough to give us an actual choice. All the people working towards a better energy source for example. People working towards peace, like jfk or Martin Luther king jr.
If they were really benevolent they would allow people to actually have free will.

They actually are interfering, but only according to how much humans themselves are willing to act as agents of the federation. If you act, then you open the door for them to act with you. They don't interfere overtly in order to not break the free will of consciousness. When you act with them, its telepathic cocreation of realities. Channeling isn't words, its actual channeling of existences themselves. Space ships are such existences, they are realms unto their own. Are you willing to ascend into the 4th dimension and reconcile the karma of your eternal soul on the earth? Are you willing to act in the 5th dimension as co creator with divine intention to share the glory of creation with all that is? Then maybe you have a chance to join the Federation. Its a voluntary organization, and its not the only way to reach higher dimensions of consciousness, but perhaps its the best long term species wide approach if we want to be interstellar.
The soul goes deep, the suffering we see today is similarly deep in its connections with the past, both recent, and ancient. If you really want to wake up, you will face thousands, and tends of thousands of years of awareness.
Federation entities already act upon the earth, but they also face this aspect of being here. They don't get a free earth experience lunch, they are also at risk, and also earn the rewards. This mission is voluntary, as they say.
I guess, if you really want their help, make them believe that it will be fruitful to help you. That it won't make you suffer resentment and jealousy, and that you will make the most of it.
