There is a consciousness that permeates every cubic centimeter of this universe. But it is not intelligent. It's like a video camera, faithfully recording everything, but thinking nothing about it. The purpose of life is to evolve an intelligence that is as infinite as this consciousness. The two will merge and the universe will finally be mature and all will be bliss.

The logic is something like this: why must there be suffering, why must there be injustice, what explains it: that this world is hell, that we're all imprisoned and made to suffer for reasons.the reality is that things just are...no rhyme, no reason - they are what they are, and for things to be as they are today, it could be no other way (for whatever reason); whether this existence is purely material or that there is something "beyond the veil", it just is what it is.
