I never thought I'd say this, but what if it really is about spiritual warfare, and the entities everyone wants to know about really are evil/demonic and just want to enslave humanity in a hell realm.If people are not spiritually prepared for that truth, then they will have no defense against it. When people enter a state of fear over it they then become susceptible to seeing these entities, which causes them to believe in them even more.Thus causing them to spiral down into the reality of those entities.In other words: non-disclosure would not just be to prevent a bit of panic, it would actually be the only thing saving the souls of many humans who have no spiritual defense.For those who still think reality is just nuts and bolts, if they were to see demons they would just accept them as a part of their reality, instead of rejecting them.
