Body produces the sensations we're aware of and can form memories of. Life outside of the body = no memories no vision no sound. NDE is hallucinations. I don't think it's impossible that awareness outside of your human body could exist but it wouldn't be simulating sensations of the body and you wouldn't be remembering it.
