why are religious people so shit?I am a religious person and i try to actually do good my entire life and try to follow the teachings of my faith.But on the other hand whenever i go to place of worship i see the worst mother fuckers in these spaces, the thieves the rapists the liars, the organization demanding more and more donations, most atheist people will refer to me as gullible & naive, that its all a scam.But i actually believe in god and try to live according to the teachings and obey, but i am forced to avoid other followers. Also there are a lot of intelligence agencies and feds that frequent places of worship and people come and cause problems spying on followers, they also usually cause problems by trying to twist the teachings, im so tired of thisThey will read a verse out of the scripture and make it say something that has nothing to do with whats written, im tired of all this.is this a psyops? am i just a dumb follower of god? i guess it depends on the congregation really, some of the nicest people i met were at the local congregation. on the other hand i live in an area that has a lot of people from another congregation that is notorious for being really insular and scamming others, a lot of their rules also go against genuine christian spirituality as well.
