LSD use in the vietnam warive heard bits of info of acid use from gis but never much anyone got stories or info on drug use from the gis and the scary shit they must have seen?
>>41753119never heard of lsd with them there, at the battle theater. def when they got back, and in labs (mk ultra). mostly they were on heroin over there, not dropping tabs. look into dicyanin goggles, supposedly it’s some dye that when applied to lens lets you see energy and other entities, rumor is they tested it in nam and the wearers said they saw like flying demons everywhere. idk tho, also heard same story but wwii and surely some anon here bought the glasses and tried it, but what if the ones on the market are like a hair different and thus don’t “work” like they put some polarized lens type thing to prevent the actual viewing.
>>41753119Vietnam weaponized drugs and used their woman to breed with our race (americans). Every soldier in the veitnam war came back with a drug addiction and a fatherless kid overseas at the very least. My gpa was addicted to opiates his whole life bc of vietnam.
>>41753212Before Vietnam drugs existed in America but after the war it was a full-on epidemic and has pretty much been at epidemic levels ever since. LSD didn't come out until right about the same time Vietnam was happening. It was like Vietnam looked at 1950s America and was like "Now watch what we do to them with drugs" and turned us into the crack epidemic of the 1980s. Just think of how different things went in just 30 years from 1960 to 1990. This is why I hate drugs, except weed.
>>41753177>havent heard of soldiers using lsd in NamThere’s tons of ex soldiers talking about it. I even saw a YouTube video where one talked about soldiers using lsd on patrolsProbably why soldiers started fragging their officers while they slept
>>41753226> It was like Vietnam looked at 1950s America and was like "Now watch what we do to them with drugs" and turned us into the crack epidemic of the 1980sThat was the CIA you dumbfuck
>>41753261>>41753177I think LSD usage could be attributed to them seeing demons in the night vision
>>41753261LSD was rare in Vietnam because it had to be smuggled in, and not many soldiers were that die hard about it being their drug of choice when compared with the cheap and plentiful heroin and marijuana that was available from local trade. The CIA did test it for interrogations but it doesn't work (in fact it tends to increase resistance). Speedballs combined with moderate doses of deliriants (plus plenty of good old fashioned sleep deprivation) work much better.
GI's had access to alcohol, weed and heroin. There was probabally some Benzedrine floating around too. I haven't heard many stories of soldiers using LSD recreationally but I'm sure a little bit got there. BZ was the spook drug that was tested on US soldiers and probabally the enemy. Movie Jacob's Ladder dances around that topic.
>>41753367LSD actually works extremely well at getting the truth out of people. It won't get you a verbal confession but it will absolutely get you the truth by every other metric. You can't even hide from yourself on a high dose of acid.
>>41754604>every other metricNo, yeah, definitely have a point there.
>>41753177That was red night vision that supposedly made them see demons. The video I watched about it said that was the reason they switched to green. I don't know what to make of it without getting the red one and testing it myself. As for LSD in a war zone, I love the stuff and I would not do that. There is a vid on YouTube where the SAS was dosed with LSD to see how incapacitated they would become. One guy had a meltdown and was ambulanced off at his own request. The rest basically lost all military bearing and were completely useless. It's a good video. While it is almost certain someone did acid in 'Nam I doubt it was a popular thing.
>>41753912BZ is a deliriant like Bella Donna or Jimson weed. They also tested it on some hippies at that stockbrokers commune Tim Leary frequented. What I read said it had them fucked up for days.
>>41754604Well that's not how military interrogators do chemical interrogation. You get mostly gibberish from somebody on LSD.
