Share your strangest dreams. Prophetic, premonition, or just plain strange or scary. I will start with a dream i had when my great grandma died.
>>41768650For context my grandma and my great grandma lived together at the end of a cul-de-sac with a big empty field at the end leading into the forest.>be me 5-6 years old>great grandma just died>dreaming>black and white view of the cul-de-sac >there's a giant church looming over everything in the field that doesnt exist irl>grandma walking great grandma to the church and helping her>wake upI dont think that one is specifically paranormal. Just my young mind making sense of death. However, I do and did have alot of premonition. Especially when I was really young, but they still happen. Its always mundane shit. However, I was once having a conversation I dreamt about for and intentionally acted differently. Since then I haven't had another that i can recall.
Not mine, but is still interesting:"I had a dream today about the sun turning people slowly into monsters. It first looked like a regular sunburn, then the flesh itself began to twist, an intense brightness followed by blindness, then nothing. People tried avoiding going outside but the sun never set. I remember vaguely them become agressive/hostile.Reminds me of moonscorching from fear and hunger 2. This was the first thought when i woke upI can only assume 3 things.1: atomic annihilation2. the earth atmosphere will be unable to block the sun3. something actual demonic happeninghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g0-7oXOVS0 [Open] "
>>41768706Anyone have any experience using mugwort tea to increase dream vividness?
>>41768650I at the top of a tall building and it collapsed. It was strange because I really thought It was real and that I was going to die. all that ended up happening was I got the trembling vibrations that happens before lucid dreams sometimes, then I woke up. I'm trying to lucid dream so hopefully I can weirder dreams
>>41769070I'm* . kek I'm not ESL I promise
For years, I've experienced a phenomenon I can only describe as, "seeing with my eyes shut", before sleeping. It happens especially if I take naps but almost any night when I'm going to sleep I experience this. I can see a dull image of my surroundings relative to my position lying down (a wall, the room, ceiling so on). If I sleep elsewhere, I can also do this. I can look around and it's 1:1 like looking around while awake. I know my eyes are shut, it happens even with a blindfold. Focusing I can also see other things, strange beings, weird landscapes, all that.I have extremely vivid and somewhat lucid dreams and lots of sleep paralysis experiences and assume this is related, though I've never heard anyone describe something like this. Is it part of the lucid dream process?
>>41769110This is called blindsight or mindsight and it's related to remote viewing. There was a documentary about kids in England that can do this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rC7xZmLcOeY
>>41769003Yeah, it works but fair warning, your dreams may be super weird and unpleasant. Odd to think how a plant can affect the actual mood of your dreams.
>>41769003Haven't tried mugwort yet, but I drink guayusa and a blend of valerian, lemon balm and passiflora. The guayusa definitely makes my dreams a lot more creative. The herbal blend makes it easier to sleep. Still having a bit of trouble with dream recall because I don't really want to set an alarm to force it. I like sleeping.
come inside room. Sit in circle with teachers. Say im in wrong spot and have ti move. formal ritual intro. **redacted** do you have anything to say so help you god? I say no. Weird sinister music starts. (from cassette?) females soft opera voice. 2 little girls with face paint in sexualized dresses with syringes walking towards me in synchronized pattern. Other children in the room.Teachers in black gowns and white masks kneeling in designated positions staring at me. floor has black and white geometric pattern. Walls have colorful confetti like designs. Im in corner of room within a marked half circle. Contemplating whether to fight it or not while looking at door exit. Feelings of helplessness.
>>41769110I've experienced this as well. It could be what's called afterimages which is a kind of visual illusion. This would explain the images of your immediate surroundings but the other things like faces, alien landscapes etc. is something a bit different
>>41769110I was experiencing this for a fair bit while working nights, right as I would fall asleep I would see the entire room as if it were illuminated by daylight. Doors would become transparent too and from my sleeping position I could look both in my closet and bedroom across the hall
>>41769697To add I would be awoken by this and end up jerking myself awake - hopefully this makes sense
I had a dream where I felt the most intense and pure sensation of love I had ever felt. No feeling of love I’ve experienced in waking life has ever come close to matching what I felt in that dream. The dream featured myself and the only woman I had ever loved, someone who I haven’t even spoken to in about 10 years. In the dream we were about to have sex, yet there was absolutely no lust involved. It’s really difficult to describe the feeling invoked by this dream, I can only describe it as love in its highest and purest form.
>>41769630Why does this sound like an elitist ritual.
I keep dreaming about interacting with girls. I know no girl will ever talk to me, so its making me sad
>>41768706Could be related to the polar shift and solar flares.
>>41768650I had recurring dreams of apocalyptic events during my teens. They all followed the same pattern.>im somewhere>i know something bad will happen>no one around me acts like the apocalypse is upon us>all hell breaks loose>manage to escape>get to a safe distance and observe everything getting destroyed from a high point>make my way to the nearest city/neighborhood/settlement of any sort>everyone is acting as if all is good>i feel like im crazy because i just witnessed what i did and everyone is living their life>dont want to spread panic and look like a loonatic so i dont say anything>this wierd feeling wakes me upI dreamt from massive earthquakes, fires to alien invasions and it was always that.Second thing i had several times was nested dreams where i was trying to wake up and couldn't for 5-10 times. Then when I broke up with my first "serious" gf, I had dreams of demons, devils and dragons really often. I distinctly remember one where in the dream i was free falling through a vulcano or some sort of botomless pit while on a dragon and i was fighting a GIGANTIC dragon 20x the size of my dragon with a sword.I havent had proper, long dreams for a while now. Anyone know of a remedy to induce them? I dont smoke or drink.
>>41769542Journaling tends to help with recall if you haven't already been doing that
