I've created two female tulpas based on manga characters, obviously, with the main conceptual limitations to avoid a repeat of the Peridot tulpa debacle. I've also added personal touches to avoid identity issues (usefulness, regarding the character they're based on). I'm trying to see how they develop their own personalities beyond what already exists, and the process is taking time. Although it's somewhat slow, it's bearing fruit, even though they don't yet have enough independence to speak for themselves without needing to remind themselves they exist. Any advice?
Let one of them know it's ok that she wants to eat you, and the other that its ok she wants to rape people, be understanding to your tulpa

>>41773725They don't yet have enough independence to even communicate with me; I don't remember them, but I know they are beings different from me. It's funny and beautiful because they can communicate not only with words, but also with feelings, "meaning" or "concepts," images, among other things. It's very demonized to create or form life because most people simply don't know how they solve problems of identity or purpose.
>>41773725I don't understand why so many people say that tulpas need to be "recharged" or something like that. Why do they try to apply the laws of thermodynamics to something spiritual?
Having a clear intent is probably the most important part of tulpa creation. That will ensure that the entity has a strong sense of self. I'm not sure if basing them on a character will necessarily be as conductive towards this as would a more open-ended approach, but yours may work nevertheless. Other than that, talking to them normally should help them develop just fine.
>peridot tulpa debacle?I know about koomer and trying to switch places with his tulpa but what is peridot?

Any advice? Are you forcing? Imagine the tulpa is like a really youthful AI and you need to feed information to it. Do things that feed it information about the world like tell your tulpa if you are enjoying food you eat, what it tastes like. If you are outside and its sunny, tell your tupa it is sunny (it has to learn what sunny is as opposed to rainy, foggy, or neutral weather). You can also tell it 'I like the clothes I am wearing today'What characters did you make these tulpas based off of? It may behoove you to make a tulpa off a simpler form. The reason ponies worked so well was because they had pre-installed personalities from MLP Friendship Is Magick and because the shape of their bodies and faces were simple. So if you are imagining it, it is hard to imagine I messed up face that breaks immersion.
