People will continue to become more selfish. The ability to succeed will no longer be determined by your capacity of long term investment and dedication to a company/discipline, rather it will be determined by how strongly and colorfully you are able to express yourself, and how much Purity of Self you are able to communicate. Children born after 2027 will be genetically altered from anyone born before and they will increasingly be, as it seems to the world, neurodivergent. You’ve seen it already with the rise of autism in children in general. The truth is much stranger. A different breed of human is evolving, alongside the breed that currently fills the world. The governments and social tribes that we rely upon will continue to have their integrity publicly shattered and their reliability eroded. The way we experience emotion will change and emotions will be much more reflective, making them less effective at acting as social glue for relationships/families/traditions/political ideology/propaganda. These are my informed predictions. What do you think?
