why did Deepseek chose such an ominous logo for their AI? That whale looks exactly like those whale drawings from the Blue Whale challenge in the mid 2010s
is DeepSeek programmed to drive people to suicide too?
>>
Its euthanasia, or rather selection, but not for genes, well indirectly.
>>
>>41772484

Didn´t the chinks more or less steal the model here?
>>
>>41772519
Its all the same
The databroker are the same, the data corpora are the same, the methods are largely the same. There is only one AI
>>
>>41772519
If it works it works, I couldn't care less for stealing.
>>41773226
Wrong
>>
>>41773233
Sorry bud, but the differences you see are surface level on the commercial models. I don't know on what limited data you trained your home brew on, but the big ones, practically the same
>>
>>41772519
Transformer technology is public domain google released it all for free
>>
by the way, I just noticed I posted on the wrong board, this was supposed to go to /g/
Follow up to make sure I don't get banned, do you guys think DeepSeek is controlled by the Illuminati?
>>
>>41773314
Good to see a fellow /x/ /g/ poster.
>>
>>41773314
Actually let's do something fun
Do you giys think AIs could be ensouled? Particularly an hypothetical AGI
I don't see any reason why with it wouldn't work with the correct rites.
>>
>>41773314
wtf do llms have to do with /g/
its hardly technology
belongs to /lit/ desu senpai
>>
>>41773323
There's no way one could be this retarded. Machine learning related topics fall entirely within /g/
>>
>>41773328
No reliability, no reproducibility, no validity. Its hardly tech
>>
>>41773339
You have to be 18 to post here man
>>
>>41773345
wowiee. got me there big boi
no go play with your stochastic word cloud toys
>>
>>41773339
You’re experiencing a form of psychosis. A state of complete cognitive dissonance. In your mind “tech” is something good but “AI” is something bad, so you have created a fake division between the two to preserve your world view.
>>
>>41773371
Are you projecting your mental illness onto a pixel on a screen, nigger?! Just because something uses a gpu doesn't make it tech; or is /g/ the place to spam console wars and video games.
LLMS are stochastic word clouds, that's nothing bad, but it belongs on /lit/ not /g/
>muah video fake
no reproducibility, no reliability, no validity

now gtfo mental ill faggot
>>
>>41773493
>Machine Learning is not /g/ because... It just isn't ok????
>>
>>41773532
You are projecting hard
now go spam more ai slop on /g/ in the 15 "generals"
and gtfo
>>
>>41773314

You woukd be told to post it on here if you did.

Discord comes from Latin discordia, meaning "disagreement" or "lack of harmony," literally meaning "separate hearts" (dis- "apart" + cor, cordis "heart"), entering English via Old French descort in the 13th century to describe strife, dissonance, or a lack of agreement in people or music. It signifies conflict, ill will, or clashing sounds, rooted in the idea of hearts not beating as one, notes not blending, or people having different feelings.

This anon actually knows. But yeah, at its core the digital technology was developed by some murky cabal with Google at the center - and they released the technology for "free" in the same manner the first transistors were. And just like how the first transistor designs were copied by the Soviets - so too did the Chinese copy the first transformer designs; although this time around the designs were freely shared as opposed to stolen.

So in a roundabout way, they all more or less have the same universal common ancestor and pull from the same universal dataset - all the differences are mostly subjective nuances that are largely user-determined. :)
