I remember I had this really weird dream when I was still taking meds (SSRIs and antipsychotics). I was on a holiday vacation with my parents in some city. We were eating ice cream at the outdoors section of some coffee shop. But besides that coffee shop everything was gray and dull. There were these tall post-Soviet buildings everywhere and all the people were old. I walked into one of the buildings, and the receptionist was a man covered in this concealing black cloth. It looked similar to a burqa but for men. I assumed he looked all fucked up and disfigured underneath that. He said "Come and watch the movie. It already ruined my life." Besides me, there were some old people standing and waiting in line. I walked inside to watch the movie. I had to walk inside some sort of stall. It looked like some sort of bathroom stall, but instead of a toilet it had a cheap plastic chair and CRT television on a shelf. I watched the movie, and it was just random faces shown on screen with pus leaking out of their mouths and noses. As the movie went on the faces started to look increasingly more distorted and fucked up.
