My last name has to do with boats; I was fascinated to find shellfish and sea sponges while snorkeling as a child; the first paranormal phenomenon that caught my eye was the Kraken.

Well this died quickly. We used to have sea monster threads every week on here, what happened? Everyone busy with the esoteric awakening of the week or what?

Anyone got the post with the guy talking about how Bloop might be tiny creatures called Salps?

Yeah, crypto discussions really died down in the early 2010s as that's when most people could access the Internet. Looking at all the attempted hunts, so called evidence and such, it really is a cope to try to say they're real. So people moved on to ghosts, other dimensions, and ayt lmaos where you can more easily believe. I know sometime ago some anon was attempting a study on a really deep lake? Unsure how that turned out.

Oh. Damn. That's so sad! I used to love deep sea creature stories!

Maybe when the ayys come they'll bring Cthulhu back

Yeah it does suck, I miss the discussions, the air of mystery? The feeling that there was still discoveries to be made.

Hmmm there's something to it though. The deep sea yearns for the renewal of fresh wonder. Long have we waited for the moment where we can choose whether to stay on land and live on in our ordinary ways, or be wise like the dolphins and return to our ancestral home. Mayhap the tide turns again, and we find ourselves stretched anew twixt R'lyeh and Atlantis, feeling the sweet freedom and release of the open ocean.

I give you a single name. Dobbeneigh. Investigate at your own peril.
