Perhaps the "true god"/"higher god" in gnosticism is really, you(us). The original whole that we are all shattered pieces of, coming together again. hallelujah

That's where the divine spark comes from, and that realization is what gnosis is. It's also found in most mystery traditions. Like it's a universal concept. Only Abrahamics deny it, but that's because they worship a false god.One is all, all is one.As above, so below.You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean, in a drop.
