You ever think that the way a TTRPG is built and ran is exactly how the Architect designed this world as well?>The characters role you play as and what they know VS you as the player knows and keeping them separate>The player themselves intentionally making flawed decisions to stay in character and to keep the story interesting while the character suffers frustrations because of the choice>The GM's job making sure that there is enough detours and twists in the adventure to keep things interesting so it's not a straight line>If the GM intervenes too much or makes a world to peaceful the players themselves become bored and leads to the death of the worldI also found it very interesting how in early D&D the exact opposite of necromancy magic was illusion magic, almost like it is implying that life itself is an illusion.
You just realizing? This world is all just people playing pretend to be God
>>41801645>almost like it is implying that life itself is an illusionIt is. Descartes' Evil Demon 'thought experiment' was more than just a brainteaser, it is real.
>>41801645I'm sure stuff like Dungeons&Dragons were based on actually occult knowledge. But I still haven't seen anyone cast Magic Missile.
