This thread is for general discussion of soft disclosure/predictive of occult, esoteric, classified, and extraterrestrial information in media. >What is soft disclosure? The use of stories and themes in media to portray real events, circumstances and information that would be disruptive, ignored, or outright silenced to release outright. Like the old saying goes, a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. >Why is *piece of media in OP pic* included here?We can discuss this later in the thread>What’s the format?Provide a piece of media and write your explanation or theories about what it’s trying to say.
>>41803422Explain it now lmao
>>41803422Can't have a thread like this without StarGate. So many layers of soft disclosure any conspiracy buff of any type will eventually find an episode that has them pointing at the TV like Leo if they watch enough episodes.P.S I die free!!!
>>41803464You actually get to die??
>>41803422Not super popular but the MMO "The Secret World" has some good stuff. Definitely a hodge podge but the closest I have seen to a single IP getting most things right (still didn't figure out the alien angle though).
>>41803471Forgot pic
>>41803468Physically yes, it's a phrase often said by one of the main Characters (Teal'c)
>>41803422The Covenant and especially the Flood, from the original Halo: Combat Evolved is some big disclosure.
>>41803422Stranger Things!!!
>>41803422The Original Dragon Age Origins had some great information on the astral realm (called the Fade in game) and the beings that dwell there
>>41803422The Slugs in BioShock
>>41803422The Nomads in Freelancer and they way they infiltrate humanity.
>>41803422Fear=Energy
>>41803422Ghostbusters in pretty obvious (and a few not so) ways
>>41803422I love the way Saren says "my implants" if you paragon persuade him at the end of ME1.
>>41803422Resistance is Futile.
>>41803422
>>41803422It's an allegory for Clockwork-orange style assassins. They are fed a false story of revenge, or whatever it may be. The game follows a victim eliminating targets for the regime, believing it is of his own free will.
>>41803422The original Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies.
>>41803657Dishonored 1 has the same trick, but it can be more blatant about it. Corvo's experience is veiled from the moment the game starts. He is in the spiral of initiation, the Outsider is Hecate.
>>41803539Say more>>41803422Ok, so:>IWNRH2010’s film with plenty of references to Epstein and other degenerate kiddy diddling rich circles>Resident EvilGenetic and pathogenic experimentation on human beings in DUMBs>InsideA multi layered combination of real world references to psychic testing in DUMBs, gangstalking/MKULTRA and also an allegory about AI and tranhumanism (the blob represents a sapient AI, possibly composed of real, trapped consciousnesses or souls, and the eventual emancipation of this cluster, which was predicted and controlled/contained)>JourneyInstructive allegory about panpsychism, possibly AI. Very similar to Inside but with a much less cynical story and outcome. Their later game also seems to follow similar themes.>Half life:Obvious real world references to DUMBs but honestly I think there’s a much deeper allegory here about parasites, harder to explain
A vague post thread, neat
>>41803730Or is it?!?
>>41803422Redundant gay thread, could literally post the majority of popular media
Took the glowies a bit longer to start shitposting
>>41803777It’s true though, just any horror or sci fi movie alone is soft disclosure on occult. Your thread is retarded
I'll bite. Let's look at time travel movies. Terminator was wild for its time, the future reaching back to our present to change or preserve the future. I always liked Primer even if it was a little pretentious. I see a lot of similarities with the time travel in Tenet, such as how you can go faster than time but only in the other direction. Go a little further if you want to explore what time is three-dimensional space would be like, I've enjoyed the Outland series by Dennis e Taylor. Imagine multiple timelines running concurrently and parallel to each other. Each is stacking upon the other in complexity. What's the next step up?
>>41803730
How about The Adjustment Bureau? There's more truth to that movie than just romance and I was was caught completely off guard in real life with it. Fucked around and found out, best word to describe the experience.....humble

>>41803687>Kingdom HeartsOk this is the serious one. This game is extremely fucking occult and every single story beat and moment is a clear, multilayered message designed to program the player into a particular way of thinking Either that or it’s instructive on how to break out of the matrix and/or the demiurge. >it’s a Disney property idiotYes, but I believe Nomura and the original writers saw the collaboration with Disney as potential to tell a story about the corruption of Disney from 1966-2000, its demonic influences and, the effects that had on culture, ideology and the idea of art as a whole. A big strong theme in the game is about how the franchization of art and the globalization of economy and internet affected the collective unconscious of the modern world; and also how it was being actively orchestrated.Another layer is both phsychosexual and philosophical. Every single story beat in the opening AMV and first level (Destiny Islands) is designed to emasculate Sora and the player. The entire symbolism of the opening AMV and first level is as follows: >The sun/true light >Riku/the ocean These symbolize masculinity and the urge to connect with others in a genuine way and through direct action, seeking god and the true light. In a few words, a Socratic view.>The island/Kairi>Sora/the playerThe base of safety, sexuality (the themes and imagery in this game are extremely sensual for a kids game) >The secret cove>DarknessThe secret cove later discovered represents the mind, introspection, hermitage and secrecy/dark sexuality and control. It is the Platonic response to It’s no accident that the game is initially “about” setting sail to find other islands/worlds and is derailed by a shadowy figure literally connected to Disney who draws Sora further INSIDE the island rather than letting him progress out, which unleashes all of the darkness in the game.
This show was about the mental health crisis following a major worldwide event like COVID.
