Stick with that. You can read the Stoics. Their philosophy is a lot about integrity which seems like would be useful to you. And if you're comfortable with self reflection, which it sounds like you are, you can work with plant medicine, preferably in ceremonial settings under people who hold some kind of lineage with the work. Avoid people who went abroad, sat for two weeks and then decided they were a shaman.
