Had a dream the other night in which I found myself randomly walking through the park when I spotted someone wearing a hoodie but I could not see his face, he was pretty tall, probably 7 feet tall at least, idk what prompted me to approach him but once I was close to him, he turned around and grabbed me by the shoulders, he didn't really have a face, all you could see is a black void full of stars and galaxies, whatever this thing was he put his face at only a couple of inches from my own face and whispered to me in a strange language that I didn't recognise but sounded familiar, similar to those whispers you hear during sleep paralysis. Finally something that looked like a tentacle came out from it's mouth and tried to enter mine but the alarm rang and I woke up. It was weird because I couldn't even move at all for a few minutes after I woke up, like I was paralysed, but didn't really feel scared at all from this experience.
>>41820537>Have you ever seen this guy in a dream?Aaah, the Silent Observer ... :)
>>41820537Speaking of dreams, go check my thread about dreams, you can think about the collective x egregore the silent observer later: >>41820543
>>41820550Can you elaborate a bit more about this entity?
>>41820603Difficult to put on one post. Imagine a loop observing itself to begin with. Or a loop of self observation. Wish I could tell you more ... :)
>>41820627>Or a loop of self observation.That's called second-person perspective.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mC8QoRa8y_Q
>>41820627So in a way that thing, the Silent Observer, is me or part of me at least? Kinda like my higher self or something?
>>41820644Don“t make it weird, that happened to me once.>>41821800Could call it that. Higher order self. A bit odd name given that it is older than what most would consider "higher order thinking". Ever had a moment where you noticed "did I just say / think this?" ...that could come close to how I would understand it.
