Is it a schizo trait to have an obsession with dreams/liminal spaces? I feel like I could never reach full happiness unless ‘reaching’ one of these places and it’s hard to explain

It’s a hard feeling/concept to describe as I haven’t heard of others feeling the same way, but I’ve been feeling like this for a long time.
I am obsessed with dreams, pictures/places that feel like a dream, dreamcore pictures, even dream logic. I yearn so badly to be able to literally experience a dream and it makes me depressed it isn’t possible, as nothing seems to satisfy me the same way.
I wish there was at least a drug out there that would allow you to dream on command, or one that would make real life feel like a dream. There’s most euphoric moments in my life have been the first moments when I’ve woken up from a vivid dream and still felt like I was in the dream for a couple moments.
Sometimes I go on random uber drives through strange areas just to find places that are ‘liminal-looking’ and fantasize about going there

I think that there is something to the masses being depressed and reality lacking dream-like qualities. Real life is repetitive and logical and boring. Walking through a hallway of different rooms in reality feels mundane and boring but doing that in a dream is a whole different story because every action feels intensely emotional and the different rooms might feel like whole different worlds. Human interaction in dreams also has more of a dream logic thing which I find much more desirable

The more the days go by and the older I get the more shitty I feel about this void
Are there any anons at all that are on a similar page as me?? Does anyone know what it might mean?
If there are others like this, how do we dream-max?

Try an Oneirogen like African dream root or Iboga plant. The latter is illegal but the former can be found.

Or, just go buy some melatonin and try to fight the urge to fall fast asleep. I have gone into a very dreamlike half awake state doing this. THC may also help here.

I'm totally on your level, anon. I have two folders set aside on my PC for liminal spaces and another one I call "places from dreams." I think it has something to do with the astral realm and triggering memories of dimensions we are aware of but don't usually consciously access. I also take quite a few liminal photos in my spare time, I'll post some here. This one's from back in September.

It appeals to parts of the mind related to anemoia.

Enough for now. Not trying to eat up the whole thread, but yeah suffice to say I have the same obsession.

Galantmine for a 100% chance of having vivid lucid dreams all night long.
Or if you mean literally dream while awake.. I have been considering Datura for this

Seconding Galamantine. Most astonishing lucid dreams of my life. You've got to wake up during the night, take it, then immediately fall back asleep to get the full effect.

If you want highly vivid dreams, without taking drugs, you could try practicing universal line's inner returns. They're just as vivid as real life.
