How much do you walk every day? Do you seek out synchronicities on your walks? What’s the strangest one you’ve experienced? Are night walks more magical than day walks? What’s the strangest thing you’ve seen on a walk? Why is walking more magical in the UK?Have crows ever brought you cigarettes? Ever seen a fairy circle? >>41855627I've always liked walking. My favorite thing to do. I sometimes think about going like forest gump.I can't remember all the syncs, but i will say that giving food to real homeless people/helping random people can really turn out unexpectedly and make you see things differently. They are on another level of living than regular people whose basic needs are fulfilled.I once walked past what i thought was, judging from what the corner of my eye caught, an old, poor, withered lady selling knick nacks to get some money. After a few steps of fighting the urge to go about my business, i pulled out some money and turned around. It wasn't an old hag, but one of the most beautiful girls i'd ever seen, a big pure smile across her face. She was handing off some Christian bracelets and wouldn't take my money, she just gave me a bracelet.Another time i saw two words written with paint on a gate to an abandoned house that separately make little sense but together are a great interpretation key to reality but i cannot explain who would have written them. Now that i think about it maybe that abandoned house was signaling that it's some sort of coven headquarters.
>>41855627there's a reason why Jesushad a walking ministery
Good thread OP. Walking can be a form of meditation. I've seen so many metaphysical things while out walking by myself or with friends that can't even remember them all. I will say this, though, and anyone that has experienced this same phenomenon will instantly recognize it. Back in my younger days I did a lot of LSD. It was a very common occurrence to be walking with a group of LSD friends on a trail in a park and come across another completely separate group of people ALSO on LSD. This happened to me many times, and no, this was not at a festival or anything like that. These were random summer walks in relatively remote park lands.
Walking is adventuring which is adjacent to manifestation. Any /x/er worth his salt has had a period of nightwalks. Used to pray I'd see a frog and one would appear instantly.

>>41855627I can't think of anything truly unusual i have seen on my walks. I used to find things like phones and wallets and took great pleasure in returning them to their owners. As for crows, the were a few that would roost in the pines in front of my home. I would always greet them "Hi Mr. Crow!" and one of them would follow me on my walks. I always appreciated his company and considered him a good friend.
>>41860673I have never experienced that sort of synchronicity on LSD, but we usually walked in areas that were empty at night.
>>41860734Interesting, anon. Maybe it's not as universal as I thought.
>>41855627i got my meditation walks.through nature. to a river. and then back.in a circle. not in a line which i turn around at.
>>41860690As anon said, fundamental part of the whole experience. When I lived in different cities, I would organise days out for kith&kin when they came to visit - I would always forget that people don't always want to meander for three hours at a go. Synchronicities - not so much. Would always tip a hat to a fellow crow. Try to always say hello to others, as long as it doesn't feel like it's going to creep them out. Fairy circles everywhere. The quiet, and the lowered field of vision of a night walk make it feel like being on a set, while the bustle of a day walks tend to draw the eyes out into the world. > Is the experience more powerful in rural versus urban environments?
Just shut this site down already you faggots have had enough. This is /x/, and OP posts about how exploratory walking can have potential for paranormal experiences. What do faggots who actually took times to solve retard shape games post back?>No. Nothing every paranormal when I walk>Never had a synchronicity the entire time I have been on my feet everThis site is 95.6% FAKE bot shit and the rest are shills. I mean really, how homosexual do you have to be to post on slow forum just to say you *don't* experience OP's topic. Literally kys.
>>41860757Maybe your town had more LSD enthusiasts and a good supply? I haven't seen the stuff in years, but I'm old and i don't know anyone here.
>>41865474Interesting reply from a fake site. The kind of post that only a rigged site could make. And very prompt too! Must of had a notification. >>>41865474>LSD enthusiastsThis is not a real site.
>>41865483Retard
>>41865501There is nothing retarded about pointing out a FAKE SITE. Why would it be retarded to point out that this site is completely captured by evil and only serves to direct a black mirror at anyone who is uninformed enough to think this site actually has real dialog. Hey, I get it, I just to code fake sites to and fill them up with bot replies too. But this is pathetic shit and you guys get way more funding.
>>41855627I have experienced magical things while out for walks. I think night walks are more magical than day walks. But I also think location greatly affects things as well, some routes are more magical than others. Back when I lived in house #1 I walked out at night frequently for a period of about a year and experienced many magical things. But when I had to temporarily move to house #2 and permanently to house #3 I’m not sure I experienced any magical events. House #1 was on the edge of the city and near big fields whereas houses #2 and #3 were more in the middle of their cities, maybe fields and wilderness are more magical. There’s still a small bit of nature on house #3’s route but it’s sandwiched between city. Or maybe how long you live there is a factor, house #1 was my childhood home I lived at for many years with many memories whereas houses #2 and #3 were places I lived at for a couple months and nearly a year respectively. Or perhaps house #1 was closer to an invisible magical thing like a leyline.
>>41855627>Ey I'm walkin ere!
>>41865483Are you the same Anon I was replying to? I believe I am a real person. As real as anyone can be in this 3D reality anyhow.
>>41855627One time I was walking in Detroit and singing along to music wearing headphones. I saw a fellow who looked kind of like a rough customer but I was singing "Leroy Brown" by Jim Croce and when i walked by singing "baddest man in the whole damn town" he just smiled like "Yup, that's me, LMAO". One thing about me is I am never accosted while out walking.
>>41855627>What’s the strangest thing you’ve seen on a walk?Walked past a house in my neighborhood one night and there were shadowy figures running around it in a circle right outside the house's walls, they were moving faster than humans would and ducked down whenever they went past a window with a light on.
Surprised no one has mentioned psychogeography. Dérives served as the basis for randonautica which had all sorts of weirdness to it. Being a Flâneur also feels rather magical. The angry arab was right>Imbecile!
>>41866173It’s a beautiful topic of study. Albuquerque, where I am now, just doesn’t have that special energy needed to make psychogeography feel alive. Philly had it.
>>41866331Most of the US, or almost any modern "city", won't have it because of urban sprawl. It might inadvertently create pockets of it, but it's rare. I've lived all across the US, and the only time I felt it was in two very different places: Seattle Washington and St Petersburg Florida. You can walk around and discover things. It has a magical feel. Outside of the country you can feel it cities and towns with history to them. México has a lot of that. I'm sure Europe is rich with that, I just haven't experienced it firsthand. The American Southwest is notoriously bad for this. It's all cars and spread out cities.

Any pilgrims here?
>>41855627Walked 16 miles yesterday. Doing magic at night in somewhere you’re not familiar with is some of the dumbest shit you could ever think of. That being said because it is so dumb it can be really fun, kind of like why somebody might sky dive. I like to start at daybreak though. All of the other questions you asked were really fucking dumb though.>>41865514I think you’re on here too often

>>41869584My spiritual sister and I went on "pilgrimage" (hitchhiking) a few times to get to sacred places. She then went ahead and did a good part of the Camino without me, and every once in a while mentions that I should do it.
>>41874958The camino changed my life fren. Thing is, people have been walking it not only for 1500 years, but for thousands and thousands of years. "Santiago" is just another catholic theft you see. Keep walking 3 days more and you come to Fisterra - Finisterre - The End of the World. Not technically the westernmost point of mainland Euroasia, but what you would find if you where looking for the westernmost point of Euroasia without the aid of satellites. Why does it matter? Since the dawn of man certain individuals, strong! Spiritually inclined! Curious! Driven has followed the setting sun, they have walked the Camino, they have charged that road with their power! And from the Catholics usurped the road pilgrims have come in the literal millions: Leaving their devotion, their pain, their hopes and their sins on that road and supercharging it till the whole thing is vibrating so hard the spiritually deaf and blind can feel it.After the Camino I started searching out places of power... and I can attest that it is all real.t. Walking is pure black magic. Only the most vile hearted would even think to do such a thing
>>41855627Walking is great, especially for the average /x/ user. Wether it be magical, comforting or depressing, walks are what brings us to a higher conciousness.I think everyone on this site can relate to having done a /nightwalk/ atleast once in our lives. We were all doomers, weren't we? Well, I still am, and I still do my /nightwalk/s.

>>41855627I try to do at least around 4000 steps per day (I know 7000 is the ideal). As others have said, walking around can be very meditative and if you focus on the details there is always something interesting going on.>>41877897I wish I could do night walks again, the world has become really dangerous, specially when you are from the third world.>DoomerStill I am, nothing beats walking at night while smoking a cig and listening to vaporwave/synthwave.
I used to walk everyday with my dog. We did that for 9 years or so. Our routes used to vary a lot. Back then, we lived in a busy neighborhood, all concrete and basically no wild life. Then one day, I wasnt even paying attention, but a huge black bird, all wet in a sunny day, stopped right in front of me. 4 days later my dog died in a stupid accident and my life went on a looong way downhill.
I miss walks. I used to live in a walkable neighborhood and used the randonautica app once to choose a random point to walk to. I had set my intention to "see something interesting."Walked like five miles and didn't see shit but on my way home people in weird fancy clothes were pumping gas into a rolls Royce and acting like they didn't want to be seen or looked at. My dogs are getting older I should find a way to go on more walks. Weird as I was waiting for the captcha to load I got this reddit email notification. Idk what to make of that.

>>41871416I love walking in Manhattan, you can go through a half dozen distinct neighborhoods within a mile walk. Same for the older more built up parts of NJ, you can walk from ghetto to rich neighborhood then to industrial areas within a mile or two walk. Also those areas have been lived in for two or three hundred years and have a very comfy organic feel to them.
