Something terrible definitely happened to our reality in 2012. Everything has been getting increasingly weird and awful since. What could it have been?
>>41867049On the opposite, we've entered a more positive timeline, and a lot of what was previously hidden is now clear for all with the eyes to see.
>>41867049Good luck, the plagues have begun in earnest now
>>41867049Datelocked: (unimportant sensation)- Mayan calendar ended- Curiousity landed on mars- Skydive record brokenIndefinite: (slowly happened since - more important)- Tech took over environments, then stopped improving.- Hollywood peaked sometime before Frozen (2016)- People began watching TV instead of meeting outside- Gaming became a thing- Monopoly took over internet and tech, killing off competitors- Music went away from physical to mp3- Radio began to die- Newspapers began to die- News became fully unworthy of trust. By now there's even ai articles! bullshit ads too! scams!- Corporate shape minimalism spread- Cartoons are dying- Cinemas are becoming worthless- Covid19- Marijuana normalized through media- eCig suckers- "Healthy lifestyle"- Grind culture increase- Worldwide tax increase- Politicians getting demented worldwide (not sure why but politicians seem approx. same age, which is too old, but I may be wrong)- War tech we don't even know about is beyond nukes - Ads stopped working since people split internet into olden and youth. Young internet is closed friend groups and discord communities.SUM OF ALL = JUST A BAD TIME> Greed happened, you reap what you sow, they sown, they reaped - Now the dirt is barren, what grows is less. >They need fertilizer.
>>41867389It's so funny that you really believe this - the terror has not even begun quite yet. In a few years time this will all seem comfortable - nostalgic even - in comparison to what comes after. Get ready for it! :)
>>41867472Why ? Do we need even more suffering ? I already fucking hated 2025, how could 2026 be worse ?

I remember getting home internet for the first time that year, and always thought about that year as a marker even before I thought of it as an /x/ year. The following year I had derealization for the first time in my life. I was like only 10 or 11. I would just be doing whatever child me did and then my mind would begin to wander and I would think about how absurd and weird reality feels, and everything would start to feel fake, even myself a bit, then I would snap out of it. I did watch The Matrix that year I think, or at least a year or so before, so it might have been that, but that film is kinda confusing, especially for like a 9-10 year old, so I kinda doubt it was that. I guess the dreammatrix got less convincing that year, idk.
