>>41869833Yes, animals have souls because, just like humans, animals have consciousness. The difference here is that the animal's consciousness is lower than humans. And because of that, their souls are lesser than humans as well. But they still have a soul nonetheless. As for what happens specifically in the afterlife, I believe consciousness is fundamental towards existence itself. And our consciousness gives us important clues about what happens after death. Just like how there was nothing before I was born into this world, there will be nothing after I die from this world. And then, from that same nothingness, I will be reborn anew. Because consciousness is fundamental towards existence itself. And the cycle of reincarnation begins once more yet again.
