Is there a quicker way to uncover fake esoteric grifters when they bring up politics and are so self assured about them, completely ignoring emotional intent?
>>
You'll get your thread deleted making fun of the whole of /x/ that way.

Get deleted or just get ignored in favor of succubus or whatever normie "occult" seasonal flavor story like demiurge earth prisons.

Anyone making a paranormal claim is either a grifter, a chuuni, or a schizo. The thing that unites almost all of these claims is that there's no direct evidence for them and no consistency to them. You want to especially beware of "elaboration," the tendency of these people to construct elaborate systems of bullshit out of minimal evidence.

A good example is UFO mythology. It's not hard to imagine or verify that people have taken photos of UFOs, and the idea that UFOs are alien in some way is superficially plausible. But there's no good way to get from that to long-winded narratives about the Nordics fighting the Greys and Reptillians for control of our five-dimensional loosh or whatever.

Another example is demons. That bad things happen in seemingly arbitrary ways is something we all understand, and it's certainly true that many cultures ascribe these events to some kind of non-human intelligence. But you see how that doesn't really support some chuuni telling you he's the son of both Jesus and Lucifer in some kind of complex Hazbin Hotel fanfic of a metaphysical system.

In all cases you start with something verifiably real ("we don't fully understand quantum physics") then you get to something that kind of makes sense to laymen ("if quantum physics can do weird stuff to particles then it can do weird stuff to us") and once you buy into that, you're sold the real meat of the delusion ("buy my quantum health water which will cure your cancer and purge your parasites!").

The trick is to detect that second step - something that sounds plausible but meaningfully departs from what the real evidence can support.

I have picked up on that pattern also.
>Something that is true
>Something that is either plausible or has a story for legend building
>The final sell that said story is this and only this through said story OR strongly imply something without fully commiting to it so you come up with the intended answer through planted thoughts to feel like you came with with the conclusion yourself so the idea is stronger because its now a part of you.

I also noticed that a lot of these so called esoteric youtubers just regurgitate all the same talking points. They want to be special but are just failed normies.

You Christians are all the same. You can larp that you're atheist, that you're not the very thing you accuse other people of being, but I feel you 4channers wishing that anyone that notices you being beneath dirt comes to harm, bad luck and unhappiness. Whether you whimper to YHWH, you soliptic self or a dog shit it doesn't matter, you're spiritual and God Almighty know it. You're trying to convince people to abandon advantages they could use against you, that's all. And everyone knows it.

4chan is one big signboard saying, "Don't think like that or you'll know I'm a piece of shit!"

Don't drag your bullshit into my thread.
>>
>>41871103
no idea, but i like your thread image and will be saving it
>>41871192
this is a very fair summation
i would however like to add that i am generally receptive of or art the very least moderately open to claims that don't focus on pushing much of a narrative and present themselves more objectively
>>
>>41871284
Fuck you you pedophile Jesus worshipping coward.
>>
>>41871103
Empathy. Psychos don't have it and that's who lies about this shit. If you can't tell, you're a psycho too, and everything you believe and want is already a grift, so who cares?
>>
>>41871640
Interesting that you yourself lack empathy and think everyone is just a psycho trying to grift.
>>
>>41871640
No. They know how others think and feel about their bullshit, that's why they infect with it, to be seen as shit. The pedophiles of 4chan think they'll get more and more of what they want the more people want to kill them.

You're not ignorant, you're unworthy.

I think a great way of spotting fakes is their intention. There's a strong difference between simply believing some esoteric thing and providing some advice/an opinion and trying to sell/recruit someone to believe it.
Grifters want you to be in the cult, to subscribe to the challenge, to pay them money or even just attention. They aren't discussing things, they're telling you things and often imply that if you don't listen you are worser off.

For shit online here's a checklist that if they have even on of these I ignore.
>Creator's of videos face is anywhere in the video, I'm learning esoteric wisdom your face is irrelevant
>Its a repost with some else faces in the corner watching it for the same reason as above, fucking hate it when they point at it as though they're going "THIS SO MUCH THIS"
>AI voice, shows they want maximum engagement by saving you the need to read
>Any form of condescending language that implies you are less or inferior for following whatever the message is
>Open ended shit that ends with what ifs and maybes
>Anything that requires paying to access or wants you to subscribe to any paid service
>Things that go to hard into current media moreso then just general esoteric stuff (Eg making a video on the Sept 23 """"rapture"""" just because others talked about it)
>If I see the content in places when I'm not searching for it, shows me your spamming it and desperately want me to see
I guess these rules apply to any form of online media but still.

the fact that they bring this kind of stuff up at all should be all the red flags you need buddy smgdh.

> so self assured about them, completely ignoring emotional intent

this is called narcissistic abuse bud

Red flags for review:
Ideological stances
Politics
Narcism

how do you spot them? if any body starts giving you a whiff of these vibes walk away - easy.

>>41871103
>nobody tell him
(OP, it's all a grift. They are all grifters)

>The thing that unites almost all of these claims is that there's no direct evidence for them and no consistency to them
congrats, that's the meaning of "PARA+NORMAL"
It literally means "not conforming to the norm"
