I have a roomate and apparently whenever he goes to the washroom in the middle of the night or is watching a show I start talking. He doesn't understand what I say but it creeps him out since it happens whenever he makes a move

What can this be? I'm getting a bit scared

No need to be. Your senses run on autopilot while asleep, not like they shut down entirely. Your ancestors avoided getting eaten by a "rustling in the leaves" that way.
