Or is there an usually large presence missing from 4han? There are boards on /b/ with 0 replies for hours. And a rekt thread I started last night is still like on the second row when in reation date sort.

dw x is always active

just us bo-

captcha is too sophisticated. only right side of the bell curve, and AI can solve it.
>>
>>41878971
it was better when they changed it now it has stupid easy shapes for an AI to figure out. the website has been dead for a month again.
>>

>Or is there an usually large presence missing from 4han?
not delulu i've been here since 2008 something is scary wrong
>>
>>41878999
Like I said: only the top percentile can solve these brainwrecking puzzles. Other people's heads simply explode when confronted by such daunting tasks.
>>
>>41878477
Yes, I noticed /b/ was wildly underpopulated a few weeks back, threads from 24 hours ago staying around.

When you look into other boards it becomes plainly obvious.

>>41878999
My theory is zoomers really dropped the ball, and many oldfags also kinda dropped off. I’d guess most “old” people here are from 2011-2016, and the rest newer than that.

The weird part is seeing other places online, the YouTube and twitch and tiktok shit, everyone is online, and they are all nowhere.

all the russian grifters were conscripted and grinded

It was always this way, though not as bad, since over a decade ago when I came here. Locals knew of the place, the dregs of youth around here some of them had seen it, the worst thought it was cool. I knew some of them. But they never talked about posting, or what was here, or what made it cool. I tried posting threads on /b/ a looong time ago when it was much more active and the only way to keep it from getting slid off into deletion in a few minutes was to samefag, and that got boring.

Plus, when you make your own thread, mods can come along and delete it if they're having a bad day. But if you post in some worthless troll logposters thread then you can be sure your post will be safe probably. You all don't cut your own turds unless you're THAT angry, sometimes it happens.

But if you post in someone else's thread you can bet you're probably not posting with the same goal as OP.

/g/fur threads for gay bestiality lovers? No, well sorta. Really they're for turning white young straight men INTO gay bestiality lovers.

"Are cats paranormal?" Is it a thread about cats and the paranormal or about being intentionally stupid or about harvesting response data for AI? Getting warmer but that's still not really correct. It's for getting responses that anger and excite the braincells of OP to rub together until he starts hallucinating from autism again. Until he gets paranoid and starts loosh farming everyone that responded and everyone else for that matter.

You have to join the Discords to really know what chucklefucks here think they're accomplishing.

Everyone has their own personalized catalog now. The website is much larger than it appears.

This is due recent "hack", it was kinda bad but nowhere pretty bad as now

I feel that way too.
All my friends are dead.

you're disgusting

even the best boards x and pol seemed really dead today

This is retarded, I've seen the catalog on multiple different places and they're the same. Its an interesting concept but ultimately retarded

honestly there's too many loser zoomers here now with luke-warm normie takes on everything. 4chan isn't even in the top 10 interesting places to post anymore imo
>>
>>41879286
what else is there i was checking other sites and found cp like 4 times and that was it
>>
>>41879286
there really isnt much at all to the internet anymore, as far s discussions go. you used to have slow, but somewhat personalized individual forums for different subjects or hobbies. advertisers demanded everyone be in the same house to maximize who saw their ads, so the little guys were priced out. now there is what, reddit, twitter, and facebook? as much as I dislike reddit it feels almost insulting including it with the other two. this isnt super recent either, even 10-15 years ago the old ways were dying, and you could joke about only visiting the same 3-5 websites, now apps for most.
>>
>>41879007
I'm a phone lurker at night and captcha really is to annoying to bother with half the time. It used to not work either but now it does
>>
>>41879062
Yeah dolnt think I didnt take notice that the nobodies were thriving you people are the bots of the internet.
>>
>>41879208
they said they updated their theory. its a bot they updated their code

Oldfag here. Won't let me post most of the time. On /pol/, I get "wait xx seconds before posting" on endless loop. I'm not buying a pass to bypass it.
I think of it as being digitally sandboxed. If I try to post on GLP, I get auto banned - even though I haven't posted anything there since last year.
I suspect I'm not the only one this is happening to. Like OP, I have noticed the lack of oldfags. We're not dead. We just can't post.

The open secret right now is that the hack killed or at the very least brutally maimed the website.
Nearly 25% of users that used to be here didn't show back up and this corresponded intensely with niche boards that aren't very populated like /toy/ and /diy/, and that number has been consistently decreasing by about 0.5 to 1% every 1-2 months or so if you check the statistical websites like 4stats.
There's also rumors that have been going around that the code for ID'S on boards that support them have had their code leaked, meaning if you run the supposed leaked code on an ID you can reverse search an IP from a post on both here and the archives meaning that no one who used ID boards is technically anonymous anymore.
Also Hiro's finances apparently dried up in reconstructing the servers for the hack, and most of the new mods that have been hired are indians who are doing the work for free because a majority of the previous mods were actual trannies who got doxxed and were stupid enough to not use burner emails when the leadership got leaked.
Either way, the people who left probably recognized this and just left because it was the final straw for them. Actual real conversations on boards are unbelievably rare to come across and most of the boards penalize actual constructive conversation whether it's using wojaks to attack and shut down certain opinions or bots that are just trying to run circles around you when you provide actual researched data on points you're defending.

It's everywhere. I had to take a family member to a local hospital today, the last time I was there was 2019 and it was a zoo. Today in this incredibly large hospital there was maybe two dozen people that I saw the whole time we were there for 2 hours. Also it seems that no matter what time of the day, or what day I go to the supermarket there's now very people ever there. What's going on anon?

This site is almost 100% bots now, just like reddit. Twitter has the most people by far.

I've definitely noticed /fit/ being a shell of its former self after the great crisis of 2025. Not that it wasn't already a shell, just that there seemed to be a huge drop in activity (in my experience) that's kept up to this day.
>>
I definitely noticed it here. ATM is is OK, but man a a week ago or so it felt dead af. Anons say this is a slow board, but it really is more in the middle, so I could tell.
>>
Also, I think eventually the demon that runs this place will unmask ylthe LARP soon. I made a 'Creepypasta' about a demon named I'kwibalalatach and when I tried to post it on the Creepypasta wiki, it legit only posted the title of the article and the rest was blank and unable to be filled. Supposedly a formatting error, but I do not buy it because I had that issue before and the text still showed up, just all fugged up. But this just straight up did not let me post it. Fortunately, the other posting were fine, but it was still mad suspicious. Oh yeah, and /lit/ axed a thread I made about the story.
