I’d imagine you have to use Shaolin or one of those other monk ones. Demons are probably immune to most takedowns

On the topic of martial arts and the paranormal I believe I have a supernatural resistance to bloodchokes seeing how I’m able to garrote myself for 6 minutes without injury, how do I convince a gym to test this without training for months until someone chokes mevwhile sparting? The first gym (BJJ) I tried didn’t work out. An online colleague thinks I should go the legitimate training route. There’s a ki-aikido place in town which might be more open to the idea of the paranormal in martial arts but aikido doesn’t emphasize chokeholds and the same colleague thinks going to them would be a bad idea since they might not actually know how to choke someone out which could result in grave injury and their claims of healing migraines with ki damage their credibility in her eyes.

Great, let's test it! What gym do you train at? Is it on the west coast of the USA?

you are doing the garrote wrong simple as, no way you dont pass out. its not about blocking the air passage to the lungs, its not apneia, its about cutting the blood flow to the brain. you are out in seconds

I know the difference between blood chokes and air chokes, that's why I directly mentioned them. My garrote technique comes from the 1943 edition of Applegate Rex's Kill or Get Killed. There, the cord strangle is classified as a *strangle*, meaning it cuts of blood supply rather than just air supply. And the garrote or cord strangle is explicitly mentioned as working faster than the common rear-naked-choke which is taught in the same book.
https://archive.org/details/Kill_or_Get_Killed_1943_Rex_Applegate/page/n89/mode/2up
If cords do not strangle or blood choke people then why do people who hang themselves pass out in 10 seconds rather than several minutes?
https://journals.lww.com/amjforensicmedicine/abstract/2011/06000/agonal_sequences_in_14_filmed_hangings_with.3.aspx
With the cord strangle which is not tight enough to prevent me from breathing I can feel a few symptoms of strangulation: the tinnitus and blood pressure stuff, but I do not develop red dots on my skin, lose bladder control, lose bowel control, or most importantly fall unconscious. With the stick strangle which is an air choke as well as a blood choke I feel the previously mentioned symptoms but I do not feel them when holding my breath for the same length of time.

Other sources I used to learn about strangulation:

Measured my blood pressure while strangling myself to see if there were any anomalous changes, but I didn't get anything conclusive. I wasn't following all the directions for accurate blood pressure measurements (I couldn't follow the ones for the hand positions since I changed them) including having back support, and wrist blood pressure monitors are known to group their readings overly high and I was nervous so I don't think the high blood pressure matters, only the changes.
Normal position, hand in intended position at heart level:
>146 SYS mmHg 94 DIA mmHg 93 bpm

Arms crossed behind head:
>132 SYS mmHg 106 DIA mmHg 98 bpm

Pushing hands together near heart:
>157 SYS mmHg 106 DIA mmHg 91bpm

Stick choke:
>Error code 2

Pushing hands together behind head:
>Error code 2

According to the instructions error code 2 means no blood pressure can be measured and should be resolved by checking the position of the blood pressure monitor's cuff and re-measuring according to the proper posture. So basically I got those error codes due to straining my arms behind my head rather than anything spooky, and spooky things have been neither confirmed nor denied. Unless there's some quirk with these devices someone else here is familiar with.

I found this youtube channel which seems to have turned into an organization about fake or harmful martial arts dojos, should I send them an email to see if they know anyone who'll be willing to test me?
https://mcdojolife.com/
I should probably use a burner email, do you think it'll matter if I name it something formal sounding? Could something xxXGodOfDeathXxx actually be better?
