How do you prevent they plant you drugs in your suitcase when you deliver it in the check in? There have been an increase of case lately and i'm afraid. I don't want to end in prison in a random country for being a blind mule

Don't go to the wrong country. Duh. Easy peasy.

The "TV" (in other words, untested and probably won't work) solution is to rig your luggage to explode if tampered with. Just don't blow yourself up by accident.

Because that never happens anymore. Why would le evil drug lord bother with that when he can just ship things in cargo containers or using boats. Any country with a coastline and a fishing fleet makes it very easy for organized crime to smuggle things / people. Find bent skipper of fishing boat. Have him go to some rando coordinates out in ocean to meet with other rando boat. Transfer contraband and hide in hold with fishing catch. Go back to port and transfer contraband with catch of fish. Profit!!!
