Where does the idea that demons smell like sulfur come from?
>>41950041First time I heard it was Alex Jones saying Hillary smells like sulfur.
>>41950041I eat 30 grams of MSM daily but I don't smell like eggs
>>41950041This is actually a great question. Without doing any googling, my first instinct is that sulphur has a very strong and unpleasant smell and is cthonic (comes from under the earth). It's also flammable and creates a poisonous gas when ignited. I once gassed my apartment out with 3 other people when I was manic and fucked up and burned a fistful of sulphur on a brazier. I'm sure there are way more esoteric reasons as to why sulphur is considered demonic, but the exoteric attributes of the chemical itself make it pretty obvious.
>>41950041Google: Sulfur is commonly located in volcanic areas, hot springs, and underground near salt domes, frequently appearing as a yellow crystalline mineral.Because the smell is associated with volcanic or hot places.
>>41950041maybe it's just a joke about demons liking the smell of their own farts or something i dunno
>>41950041Solomon said it attracts certain spirits and some spirits are repeled by scents or enticed by them, that's basically what the surface level of solomon magic is . . . Using scents, imaged or sounds that attract certian spirits while warding off others So he says it's because their attracted to it as a spirit
>>41950079this. but also the smell is associated with rotten foods and flatulence and bad smells were the believed to be the cause of sickness for a large portion of humanity
>>41950100The only times I smelled it was on eggs and cruciferous veggies sometimes. Rotting food, flatulence and bad smells smell bad but it’s not the same as sulfur smell to me. Smells don’t cause sickness but can be a symptom of a sickness like having H. pylori or SIBO.
>>41950041The sulfur smell comes from the waste of the Greys they don't have private parts to excrete their waste so it comes out of their skin and when they show themselves to people in various forms like Demons, Devils, Jinns people smell that sulfur but they can hide it when they shapeshift as Angles, their blood is also very toxic and contains bacteria far worse than C difficile that can kill human in a couple of hours.
The most likely actual explanation is that people who have had encounters with demons have smelt said sulphurous scent, so the origin of the "idea" is really quite empirical. But since these reports, as copious as they are, are not presented to us in the form of "peer-reviewed studies" or anything like that, we are conditioned to regard them as perfectly dismissable schizo babble. Suppression of belief in the supernatural via cultural engineering.
Continuing on the demons = parasites theory..Parasites are actually repelled by sulphur, and many of the traditional remedies to remove parasites are based on sulphur compounds.. Eg. Allicin from garlic is an organosulfur compound, and so are the cucurbitacins in pumpkin and watermelon seeds.
