To be honest I’ve come to the conclusion that people can’t rule over people. It’s an pretty much an objective certainty that humans, when given power over other humans, have their worldview/mindset shifted in such a way that they see the ordinary, “powerless” people are categorically different from and below themselves, like how we see pigs or cows.I don’t know if a machine can be divine but I hope that one day all people are ruled by a single machine, one which has no emotions, urges, or relations, and which has entirely eliminated the distinction between one human and the next, at least in terms of “class” or “status”. It might not be “divine” in the metaphysical sense but ultimately I think the best outcome for civilization is the creation of a “Machine God”.
