I’ve come to the conclusion (delusion) that “normal” human beings, kind, generous or caring human beings don’t exist anymore.This has to be the case nowadays, no one is under the definition of normal anymore.I think sometime during the 70s or 80s human brings all became a singularity of mental illness to the point of normal not existing. Every human is now a sociopath or a psychopath with no in between, something happened at some point where the normal stopped existing, leading to empathy not being felt in any human being.Everyone has a mental Illness, everyone has something wrong with them, everyone fends for themselves and possibly a few family members.At some point in recent evolution humans lost empathy as a trait, now using it as a self serving or appearance based merit to show how good and kind said person is, while In reality no one really feels it.Maybe 9/11 or other shared tragedy in other countries caused it, but it was lost long ago and isn’t something we have anymore.It’s everyone for themselves now or a close circle of people they trust, other than that everyone is apathetic or self serving, humanity lost its collective soul years ago and now only children in adult bodies continue without learned empathy or care into the modern age.

Disagree generally, most people are perfectly fine in one on one interactions. The big issue is that people have become so oversocialized with the internet, that the constant participation in the "town square"(social media) has tremendously steered people towards binary thinking patterns. This means that typically nice people will be more likely to get duped into supporting something evil because their abstract thinking ability has been severely atrophied. The pandemic and vaccines were the prime example of this.

>>41985352In the UK it was Margaret Thatcher that decided the government needed to promote people to see themselves as individuals rather than part of a collective. Ever since then in the UK everything has been done to seperate the family unit, to promote divorce and discourage marriage because married men and women with good families are more likely to oppose bad regimes. I'm assuming other governments decided to do this too and that's why we're seeing everyone focus on themselves and completely lacking in empathy. They want us easy to control and worried about only what benefits ourselves so we don't fight back, humanity is stronger together so they're creating division intentionally.
