How do learn to control the pineal gland?. If I put effort on the pineal gland while visualizing anything then my body starts obeying. If I try to relax and use the gland my muscles relax or If I try to puke It works.
>>41987372cant a mantra or prayer or repeat a phrase in your mind using your inner voice only. no moving your mouth or tongue whatsoever like do something really simple right now as an experiment. say "chicken sandwich" in your mind 100 times, pronounce every syllable fully and clearly. "chic-ken-sand-wich" then reply to this comment how you feel. do you notice any pressure in your head? almost similar feeling to doing weight lifting at the gym but in your head? let us know anon im curious
>>41987372Your pineal glands major function is to produce melatonin. Not sure what you think you’re gonna get out of that except better sleep.
I need to learn to control my peneal gland if you catch my drift
>>41987610so are you saying its like a muscle i can train just by repeating and thinking of certain thoughts and what is the result of practicing this???I need more info on ways expand my mind and exercise my gland if possible...
>>41987684idk man why don't you try doing what i said and then reporting your results like i said? then you can make up your own mind about it
>>41987684You can influence your pineal gland through light exposure and through emotion. The amygdala, the part of your brain that processes emotion, has impact on your hypothalamus, which controls your pineal gland. So if you can regulate your emotion to calm, then it’s perceivable to stimulate the pineal gland. But again, all you’re going to get is melatonin, the stuff of dreams.
>>41987684albeit this is assuming you have an inner voice which some people claim not to have. don't move your mouth or tongue whatsoever and just repeat the phrase 108 times. a vedic mantra would be far more powerful, like Aum Namah Shivaya for example, but just for the sake of ease i picked a simple english phrase with no deep meaning and only 4 syllables for you to try
>>41987708Honestly nothing... I repeated the phrase, I will succeed again and again in my head for a few min and maybe I just feel more clear minded because I zeroed in on a single thought for a lil while but nothing beyond that.... The only transformative experience I've had as when i took DMT.
>>41987737I do have inner voice... Its crazy to me that people claim to not have one.Are there any other ways of achieving these higher states of consciousness without the influence of drugs and extensive meditation???
>>41987750how many times did you repeat it? the full 108? also im not telling you to think about chicken sandwiches or focus on a thought of them, im telling you to speak outloud the phrase but inside your head. your mouth and tongue should remain closed and fully still. it's called TM transendental meditationdo this one instead. 108 times. Aum Namah Shivayapronounce each syllable fully and clearly so you can audibly hear it inside your own head AUM NAH-MAH-SHE-VIE-YAHas you go try to do it faster and faster
>>41987767>Are there any other ways of achieving these higher states of consciousness without the influence of drugs and extensive meditationFairly sure that three letter agencies and/or private contractors have access to specific audio files + sensory deprivation chambers + perfect soundscapes + supplements/nootropics to make those states much much simpler to attain. As to the minutia that's hard to research and harder to verify.
>>41987714>amygdalaI guess my next question would be regarding the amygdala. I'm generally a stoic person and have very "it is what it is" mi8ndset and try not to let anything get to me. Is that A good step in maintaining these parts of the brain?
>>41987767>I do have inner voice... Its crazy to me that people claim to not have one.I assume many people just don't understand the question. To me, there are three states:1. no sound inside the mind at all2. you hear a voice, or many voices, but they aren't in your control3. you can make voices in your head, but only when you choose to, which isn't really that common unless you're imagining a debate or reading somethingI think TV demonstrates #2 a lot, and it seems like #2 tends to judge both #1 and #3 as if they are the same thing. I also think #3 may falsely assume the question is about whether you are #2 or not, but it really is (or should be) simply about whether you are capable of simulating voice inside your mind.
>>41987800I fall into the 3rd category fs...Ill keep trying intensive meditation and see where it eventually takes me but as of right now I haven't noticed any subtle effect on my mental.Any other recommendations?
>>41987767>Are there any other ways of achieving these higher states of consciousness without the influence of drugs and extensive meditation???not that i know of. i personally chant 16 rounds of Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare every single day 1 round is 108 repetitions of the phrase. i do this 16 times every day so that's 1728 times in total of a 16 word mantra with 32 syllables very advanced yogis do up to 64 rounds a day, sometimes of mantras that contain 100 syllables. here's some examples of various mantras you can try. the word mantra itself is sanskrit, Man means mind and Tra means to liberate. aum namah shivayahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paJv2g9Gylsaum mani padme hum (buddhist) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPszteX0z7kthe maha mantra, considered the best mantra for our current age kali yuga https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mfn03zZLRz4teyata gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha, the mantra itself starts at 25 seconds into this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJQT29uzS7gVajrasattva Mahamantra, 100 syllables, very advanced, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKy3zIoleCs&t=546s
>>41987834And what has this routine brought you????
>>41987372
>>41987838profound peace, cured my ptsd, hemisynch my brain without the need of audio tapes, silenced my non stop internal monologue, among many other things these are just a few examples, also lead to very deep transcendental experiences i cannot begin to describe. its done for me what therapy drugs and everything else could never do, not just mask symptoms but cure the root issues entirely. if there was no life changing tangible benefits for me i wouldn't do it at all, let alone 1728 times every single day lol im not a hindu or part of any religion i don't do it for religious reasons or obligation, the hare krishna mantra is simply the one that works for me, also i was a Rosicrucian for many years and many of the Rosicrucian intones are the same as the syllables in the hare krishna mantra (HAA RAY RAH MAH for example)
I’ll give you a new one you probably haven’t heard. It’s not about the pineal gland though. Humans have vestigial auricular muscles around the ear, the ear wiggle muscle. Some people can voluntarily wiggle ears but most can’t. Yawning can lightly activate the muscle and activating it creates a vibration deep around the ears. If you cause the muscle to cramp through repeated muscle activation, it creates a vibration that takes over your body. When people speak of a vibration associated with OBE and RV, this is what’s happening. From personal experience I can say that it is possible to force these experiences through activating this muscle.
>>41987881have you heard the voices in the ringing?
>>41987888No. But I use to be able to reliably produce RV and OBE with it. I’ll be honest though, it’s hard to do without some help. Opiates have a way of causing this muscle to go crazy and it’s much easier to activate. But I wouldn’t recommend opiates.
>>41987880>cured my ptsd,>>41987838the best way i can describe how it cured me of deep childhood ptsd is that it's like DDOS attacking your own brain until it's too tired to keep your defense mechanisms (firewall) that block away trauma out so then all your subconscious bullshit comes to the surface and you're forced to face and feel things you didn't even know where locked away, could be memories, many vastly different emotions all at once, screaming, crying, violent body shaking, all types of stuff. whatever is in there is gonna come up until it's too much to handle, then you repeat, it's a long process and not what OP was asking about im kinda rambling now and just wanted to explain how that's possible . as corny as it sounds "you have to feel to heal"
>>41987895My experience doesn't seem muscle related. Doctors would call it a seizure if they were to try to classify it.
>>41987888i can tighten my ear muscles and feel and hear the hum, almost like white noise... is this a stimulating frequency I'm creating or just random noise??
>>41987881>>>41987881>have you heard the voices in the ringing?I can tighten my ear muscles and feel and hear the hum, almost like white noise... is this a stimulating frequency I'm creating or just random noise??
>>41987372be subtle, go easy on yourself and you'll master it, don't force it or try too hard
>>41987372Put a comforter on your windows and keep your lights off. I know it sounds weird but try sitting in the dark more often. Like with just tv or computer or led lights on. You'll for sure get more in tune with yourself that way.
>>41987638What club of bullshit artists in white lab coats told you that?
>>41988497Many anatomists, researchers , scientists, medics agree. It’s definite that it produces melatonin. It’s not up for debate. It is how it is.Why don’t you tell us what club of medicated new agers showed differently?
>>41987798no, youre missing love anon. go read the mother 1 novelization that is from Ana' pov and realize that your stoic persona falls in between Lloyd and Kens' personality but Ana's love and wisdom is what completes them
>>41987825>intensive meditationit depends on what your interpretation of this isintensive can mean different things, some good for cultivation, some will prevent you from making much of any progress at all
>>41987767>Are there any other ways of achieving these higher states of consciousness without extensive meditation???are you simply saying you dont want to put in the work?
>>41987798>I guess my next question would be regarding the amygdala.if you're getting this deep into the matter, I recommend picking up Dr Austin's Zen and The Brainits quite a tome, quite in depth on these matters
>>41987939that's your auditory functions picking up the muscle contractionits a different thing than when it takes place with no muscle contraction
>>41989291I'm saying my research and own practices haven't lead me anywhere... No matter where I read on the subject everyone is always so fucking vague to the point where there advice or info doesn't mean anything... just buzzwords for buzzword sake...
>>41989291I'm somehow left with more questions than answers after reading all these chats....Yall need to quit speaking in Gympie curses and actually explain the methods in a non cryptic and vague way.
>>41987834>mfw that picIt's wild what happened to Buddhism after all these various cultures invented their fanfiction interpretations. If only someone had been around to tell the Buddha that he was wasting his time with all that eighfold path stuff when all he had to do was see a mantra and he would magically become immune to negative rebirths.
>>41992021read olfactoryanon in the archivesa good foundation is necessary for advancementbody & breath refinement, awareness trainingthat alone done enough can produce results that eventually form a good mahamudra sort of practicetrain the air flow, eliminate the turbulencelessen the triggering of the sense nerves esp the olfactory nerveswhen the air flow is subtle enough and well conditioned into the body's memory, the lack of stimulation eventually forces the nerves to transition their resonant mode from normal (yang) to hibernate (yin)since there's no 0, there is simply another mode of operationthis is why the fat buddha is fat, not because of adipose, but because size perception distortions happen at this stage where the nerves do this on an overall scaleattaining this is just a matter of learning to breathe properly for 0 turbulence air flow, and conditioning the body to execute the motions flawlessly at scalethis sets the stage for true stillnessand as ohm's law teaches us, reduce r and the amplitude soarseverything's really built on this foundation, master it and it helps you do any other practice safelyor take this lone cultivation of awareness all the way until the spiritual light leaps forth from ithow far one goes depends on the work he puts in, which is why there's no good timeframes to go byI made the spiritual light manifest in a year and a half's worth of work, but much of that was troubleshootingas soon as my conditioning reached good levels and I was performing correctly, a further 3 months
>>41992038I try to write in the most direct way possible, on purposebut sometimes that entails some scrabble tier words, some anatomy terms, and some words that arent clearly defined, such as samahdiI consider the manifestation of the spiritual light to be samahdiits form depends somewhat on where your awareness is focused, i.e. if you are still working with your awareness on gut timing, it will be different than if your focus is at the seat of awareness in the midbrain
