Is there some kind of simplified version of this? Supposedly it contains all these secrets/methods for communicating with angels and unlocking knowledge within yourself, but there's so much to go through. Do I just have to brute force my way through it and read the entire thing?
Never used Ars Notoria specifically, but generally anytime you're "summoning angels" with occult stuff, it's demons pretending to be angels. Unfortunately. Look to the experiences of famed historical occultists like John Dee, or Cornelius Aggripa. They both found out the hard way. If you look at the 72 angels of the Shem HaMephorash, for example, which are the most popular ones. Their names are derived from reading parts of the bible boostrophonically (meaning, in part, backwards). Even if you have just a little bit of occult knowledge, you should be able to understand why it's inherently problematic to read parts of the bible backwards. Then, of course, there is the fact that these angels each correspond to 1 of the 72 infamous goetic demons. Basically the implication is that the angels, in fact, are the demons. But the demons are pretending to be angels. Nothing prevents a demon from pretending to be an angel. Unfortunately.But once more, I've never worked with Ars Notoria. But even though I haven't I can more or less inform you it has the same problem.

Particularly if you go on /pol/ you most certainly have negative astral entities who have noticed you, and whisper in your ear to pull you down into low vibrations.My recommendation for you is to go find a very liberal church. One which does not require you to interpret everything about Christianity in the same dogmatic way they do, and basically attend those services until you develop your own connection to the spirit world...which will happen eventually on its own. If you're interested in perceiving it...then eventually you will because your focus will be in that plane, and then boom you will be able to view it.

Christopher, and the only invocations I perform are related to the classic rituals (LBRP, LBRH, Middle Pillar, Pathworking Tree of Life, invocations on the elements and planets). I'm also trying to develop astral sensitivity through third eye meditation in addition to rituals. I experience a constant ringing/pressure in my ears, which worsens during rituals and almost disappears when I'm around people. I think the neophytes were right in the beginning, when they practiced LBRP for at least six months before moving on to other rituals. I'm banishing and working on undesirable traits with LBRP, and it seems to be working. One must be clean to reduce the possibility of invoking who knows what forces, and morality is actually a defense mechanism, not bigotry. Some very unpleasant things happened to me before things got a little better.Any advice would be greatly appreciated. In any case, I won't perform any invocations outside of the strictly necessary curriculum, which I must complete to avoid being left suspended between worlds.
