It embellishes and takes liberties but it touches on a lot of interesting pieces of the entire lore of the paranormal/alternative. It's a low-protein introduction to the topic for a lot of people.Pretty telling that you have people insisting not to watch something like this when it's clearly self-aware. The guys they put on these shows are just book selling grifters making shit up off the top of their head. It ruins the immersion when they’re blowing smoke trying to speculate about something they only find mysterious because they don’t know something super fucking basic about the world. When you get an actual scientist to talk about this stuff even if they think it’s full of shit they’ll at least treat it as a serious thought experiment and explain why. Boring entertainment.
