it doesn't get more paranormal than the Universe, we dont know what the FUCKS going on, lets be honest here.
post weird space images, facts, theories, aliens, anything. I LOVE this shit.

>That there are other intelligences out there in the universe.
>That ultimately all intelligences must evolve away from their biological origins towards artificially manufactured forms of intelligence which have the advantages of eternal life, unrestricted size, and direct control over the parameters of their own nature.
>That it is in the best interests of any intelligence to propagate its own kind throughout the universe to the exclusion of competing forms, i.e. that intelligences that adopt this strategy will thereby proliferate.
>Acceptance of these assumptions, together with the above mentioned insight, leads to some rather startling conclusions. Artificially manufactured life forms need not propagate themselves physically from planet to planet, all they need to do is to transmit their ‘pattern’, or the instructions for how to build them. In this way they can disperse themselves practically at the speed of light. What they need at the receiving end is some life form that is intelligent enough to receive the signal and act on it. In other words, if some alien life form knew of our existence, it would be in their interests to beguile us into manufacturing a copy of their form here on earth. This form would then proceed to scan the skies in our locality in search of other gullible life forms. In this way, their species acts as a kind of galactic virus, taking advantage of established life forms to induce them to make copies of their own kind.
>They will then give us instructions on how to build a machine that will cure all the problems of the world and make us all happy. When the machine is complete, it will ‘disinfect’ the planet of competing life forms and begin to scan the skies from earth in search of further nascent planets.

We know that "outer space" is fake bs.

I know we are stupid as a species but would we really make an alien virus because they asked us nicely?
>>
weird fact : if we could travel faster than light and had a powerful enough telescope you could leave the Earth and look back at it and see every historical event, ever.

the one billion light year wide Supervoid where there is literally nothing. seems like a good hiding place for God to live.

the speed of light limit is proof that the Universe is a machine with limited amounts of energy. the limit doesnt need to exist, but it does.

The Sun is 400 times larger than the Moon, but also 400 times as far away, making both objects appear to be the same size in our sky.
this coincidence is so unlikely that is thought to not happen anywhere else in our entire Galaxy, and leads to one conclusion : the Moon was placed where it is deliberately to achieve a perfect Solar Eclipse.
>>
>>42038818
it just isnt /x/ without the high school dropout saying some absolute bullshit without explanation
>>
>>42038995
It sounds crazy at first, but it's really not that unlikely. First, It's not actually mathematically perfect, but just good enough. Second, both the sun and moon can't be too close or too far or it would have negative effects on the earth. So there's a very limited range they can be in and they just happen to be close enough within that range for humans to go "good enough" and call it perfect.

Its a space rooster.
>>
its been very recently discovered that time can flow both ways at the quantum level. so the entire universe can be rolled back in time. this is ideal for any cock-ups we make and want to turn back the clock and try again
>>
>>42039370

The amount of energy it takes to do that cant be produced by humans. Not even in 10 billion years of human evolution will it be possible for humans to do that.

Only the creator himself can do that. No one else.

It takes more energy to stop the universe then the universe can produce and it will take atleast a 100 times more to reverse it and make it go backwards like a time machine.

Monkeys will never be able to do that.

by who, when, and for what purpose?
>>
>>42038802
A theory I developed that I haven't really seen mentioned anywhere.

The most optimal way to propagate the galaxy is by spreading out the building blocks of life and time.

What if life was seeded here, and cultivated into intelligent life? When other species were dominant, there were catastrophes to eliminate the dominant life forms and start anew.

Another one:
Aliens are husks and their consciousness gets transported into the husks from anywhere in the universe by quantum entanglement.
>>
God placed the sun in the void and detonated it like an atom bomb which caused a massive implosion/explosion, shooting fiery shrapnel in all directions but most especially in a golden spiral.

case closed.

we live in a heliocentric universe.
>>
>>42038995
>so unlikely that is thought to not happen anywhere else in our entire Galaxy
By who? Not astronomers. There are some others in our own solar system that are very close.
>>
>>42039061
i think there are a few other places in the solar system where you could get almost as good eclipses. i looked it up a while back.

We have the means to study space but not in as much detail as we'd like. It's expensive and very slow right now. Probs are aliens due to the size and age of the universe. We personally will probably never see any part of space outside our own galaxy and we'd don't even know if we are living in the oldest galaxy. We are living in a good age for space exploration but we'll never see the good stuff. May get robots on Mars and some structure and we may be able to land some probes on other planets.

>May get robots on Mars and some structure and we may be able to land some probes on other planets.
there have been robot probes on mars for decades now, with more planned. venus has had several but its a really hard place to keep them functioning for long. would definitely like to see robot probes on multiple jovian and saturnian moons though. that would be great.

The pic is of a cloud. The void is still real. There are lots of voids in the universe.
They dont look like a dark patch, because light goes right through them and you can see the stars on the other side.
Our own galaxy is right on the edge of a pretty big void as well.
>>
>>42045060
>and you can see the stars on the other side.

>Galaxies
The main component of and primary light source by which we see them being...stars.
>>
>>42045072
True but on that scale you would just say galaxy. I wouldn't call you a cell, right? I would say human even though you are made of cells.
>>
>>42045092
>you would
No, I wouldnt, as evidenced.
I would say star because starlight is the thing you are seeing more than anything else, and the light is the salient point - not that it is coming from a galaxy.
>>
>>42045105
Okay, cell.
