From a Luciferin view, yes. From a practical one, no. Lucifer is the very being that chains you while giving you the illusion of freedom because the chains feel good to wear. There is a reason why the devil is related to debauchery while chasity is with God, although chasity in of itself could be a system of control as well.

i'm a subscriber to the groupsoul version of lucifer - they are bunch of entities from the groupsoul lucifer contracted by our planetary logos to help us navigate to the 4th density - love/wisdom. frankly speaking i'm not aware of lucifer's mythical explanation or whatever. i just read the window of opportunity forum discussion on now defunct ats and that helped me make sense of this topic.
